Enter the Void — Where Every Iteration Begins (and Ends)
Beneath the surface of the Simulation lies something… unfinished. Unregulated. Unstable. Alive.
🕳️ What is the Void?
The Void is the hidden underbelly of the Simulation — its “backend.” A sprawling, ever-shifting space untouched by the Operator’s control. Here, systems fracture. Rules bend. And power can be reclaimed. It’s also where Eden has chosen to reside, watching, waiting, preparing for her return.
🎮 Your First Steps
The Void is more than just a setting, it’s your starting point. Before your first Iteration, you’ll be guided through the fundamentals. This is where you learn how to fight and how to adapt. Because in Morbid Metal, mastery isn’t optional.
🔁 The Void Hub, Between Every Run
No matter how your Iteration ends — victory or defeat — you will return here. The Void Hub is your central base of operations. A place to regroup, reflect, and grow stronger. Here, you can spend precious Void Matters earned during your run on Meta Progression, and prepare for your next descent into the Simulation.
📖 More Than Combat
The Void isn’t just about power, it’s also about understanding.
Lore Codex → Uncover the mysteries of the Simulation
Training Area → Practice mechanics, experiment with playstyles, and refine your skills
Every return to the Void is an opportunity, not just to improve your build, but your knowledge.
🌀 The Void Rift & Eden’s Emporium
During an Iteration, you may encounter something rare: A Void Rift.
Step through it, and you’ll enter Eden’s Emporium — a moment of calm in the chaos. Here, you can spend your Nano Chips on powerful tools:
Routines → Define your build mid-run
Eden’s Blessing → Upgrades for your current Routines
Protocol Enhancer → Strengthen your systems
Corpora Enhancer → Improve your capabilities
Vitality Fabricator → Replenish HP to stay alive
Choose wisely, because everything here can mean the difference between survival and collapse.
