MOONSHIRE changes
Thank you all for the continued support! This update to MOONSHIRE features yet another new boss, as well as the introduction of a brand new core mechanic and reward type:
Gemstones and Jewelry! Collect pieces of jewelry throughout the game, and combine them with gems like the Ruby, Emerald, and Amethyst. Each jewelry/gem combination unlocks unique effects. Here are a few examples:
Ruby + Necklace = Necklace of Safety - Gain invincibility while healing Emerald + Ring = Ring of Accuracy - 10% chance for all attacks to deal a critical hit Amethyst + Necklace = Necklace of Salvage - Breaking weapons produces money
Many more options to come - I'm planning to give this jewelry system plenty of options to allow players to create unique builds.
New Boss (#4) can be found south of the forest (where the game starts). Updated layout and enemies for this section of the game.
Pause menu overhaul - updated design, layout, and features. Added a new Jewelry panel. Exit to Menu now supported.
Visual and thematic improvements to the dark cave East of town
Improved main menu file select, showing each file's total play-time and providing more accurate completion percentages.
