Hope you're having a good weekend! This is just a bug fixing update to take care of most of the currently open tickets.
Biggest fixes:
Birch Tower 4 - If you got stuck during the minigame and had to leave, this should now retrigger when you come back to the Amenities room so you can complete.
Maple Place 2 - If you have paid the loan but it didn't tick off in your notes, when you load in now it should register and trigger the related phone call.
Cedar Court 2 - If the Parlor Palms weren't ticking off in your notes, it was because they were in separate stacks in your inventory, they should now tick off regardless of the stacks.
Moving - If you experience a problem during moving, it should now be detected. If you leave and come back midway through the move it should retrigger. I have added a "Cancel move" option to the Help menu now too as well as a button where you can refund yourself the payments in case of any issues <3
Pets - Fixed a crash when using the last amount of pet food in a single item stack (and also an issue preventing some of the non-cats from registering food/water)
Ferris Wheel - I've added a shop where you can buy a new ticket if you lose yours. After purchasing you will need to leave the area and come back to trigger the event.
Events note:
If you are mid cutscene/mini game and you exit the room via the taxi or quit to apartment, in some situations you may not be able to retrigger that event. I’m going through them all at the moment to confirm and add extra conditions that force resets but there are a lot of events so please let me know if it happens to you via a bug report ticket so I can prioritise that event.

General:
NPC schedules - Added checks to prevent edge cases of spawning or schedule during following actions or events.
Sitting - Can no longer sit during mini games.
BT Amenities - Fixed some stray wrong tiles.
News - Updated the way that UI processed news items to validate better before display.
Tasks - Stopped listeners and various other events running during transitions and async events.
Inventory triggers during cutscenes - Updated checks to recognise when items are in multiple inventory stacks. Also updated taking items during cutscenes to take from multiple stacks.
Locations - Updated location finder to have better exit cases when locations are not found.
Interactions - Adjusted special interactions during events and cutscenes to overwrite regular interactions more effectively.
Shops - Add additional check to prevent shop staff spawning mid cutscene.
ATMs - Changed amounts of deposit/withdrawals to be more useful from $10, $50, $100, $500 > $100, $500, $1000, $5000.
Private Detective - Man Hunt - will now remove itself better if it detects you leaving mid hunt or save/loading.
Passing out - Adjusted order of calls to try to prevent Hannah’s twin from spawning (not sure if I achieved this though…)
Interactions:
Lottie - Adjusted trigger area for photos.
Pots - Adjusted priority so that when a pot is held, the default action is “Place” not “Repot” unless you are within range of another pot.
Minor NPCs - Turned off ability to face different ways when talking to them as they currently only have one direction of sprite and no one needs that nightmare.
Private Detective - Gather Evidence - Reordered interaction priorities and detection triggers to trigger photos more easily.
Tutorials:
Added ferris wheel shop where you can rebuy ticket if you lose yours (need to leave Garland Central and come back to retrigger the event).
Move in loan - untied it from Ryan’s letter so it will still open even if you don’t read Ryan’s letter (lol sorry)
Events note:
If you are mid cutscene/mini game and you exit the room or save/load, you may not be able to complete that event. I’m going through them all at the moment to add extra conditions to add force resets but there are a lot of events so please let me know if it happens to you so I can prioritise that event.
Petal Events:
Updated event spawn logic so it fully quits to avoid conflict with PD mini games (to avoid petal events spawning during Man Hunt)
Added a force exit case for cutscene resets in case pink bars somehow get stuck on.
Ryan PE 1 - Updated following actions to prevent issues where Elle can sometimes force player off screen at end of scene leaving it to look like the player is invisible.
Building Events - Birch Tower:
BT 1 - Fixed Oliver’s reset dialogue and adjusted ending dialogue progression.
BT 4 - Fixed Oliver’s mini game reset dialogue.
BT 4 - Added rescue conditions, if you leave the room or quit mid mini game it will now retrigger when you enter the Amenities room next. If you were stuck on this, please visit the Amenities room after updating to redo the event.
Building Events - Maple Place:
MP 2 - Fixed extra diary entry not displaying on completion.
MP 2 - Fixed phone occasionally not toggling off blocking the loan payment from completing the task. If you were unable to complete this because the task didn’t tick off after paying the loan, it should automatically play the thank you scene when you load in.
Building Events - Cedar Court:
CC 2 - Updated placement of Leon in case the player enters from their apartment.
CC 2 - Updated trigger to recognise when items are in multiple inventory stacks. If you were unable to trigger this because the palms weren’t ticking off when they were in multiple stacks, they should register now regardless.
CC 6 - Fixed a crash when furniture wasn’t created quickly enough for their updated placement.
Moving apartments:
Adjusted moving process to be less memory intense and have more exit checks in case something goes wrong.
Added move status to save file so if you quit or exit the room mid-move it should restart when you reenter your apartment.
You now get a free hammer in the new apartment to make up for the fact that the furniture placement is so janky.
Help - Added button to help menu to cancel a move (and get refunded if possible).
Help - Added a button to help menu to give yourself $1000 so anyone who had a failed move can get a refund.
Fixed issued with move in letter resending and loan reopening if you move to a second building.
Pets:
Fixed crash when using last use of single pet food item to refill bowl.
Fixed non-cat animals not eating/drinking overnight in some situations.
Save files:
Reworked how files/backups are assigned to slots in menus to prevent duplicated file ids across multiple slots.
Default ids that match a slot number will be auto assigned to that slot eg. 000001 will be prioritised in slot 1, the rest are filled with most recent files.
If more files than the max (4 Switch, 8 Desktop) are detected, the extras will be listed under your active files with a warning.
Backend:
Added better trace logs for cutscene management.
Added debug options to force countdowns.
Cleaned up some unused cutscene elements.
