Greetings, adventurers!

Now that Chapter 2 of Moonfell: the Tides of Aether has been added to the demo and a few key QoL enhancements have been delivered, you'll likely see fewer updates to the demo itself moving forward (certainly no additional content, but I will still be providing support in case of bugs etc.)

This shift in focus is to allow me to focus on completing the remaining Chapters, of which there are eight planned - for a total of ten Chapters in the complete story - as well as to do a bit better job with promoting the project on various socials. I am hoping to be able to grow the wishlist rate on Steam as well as to accumulate more reviews for the demo (Positive reviews, ideally ːsteamthumbsupː), which will both help build momentum in anticipation of a 2027 release.

Feedback still welcome

That said, I am still actively interested in feedback and identifying ways to improve the player experience. And to that end, I've entered Moonfell into the latest Feedback Quest game jam, hosted by the Indie Questing folks, which you can find here: 🔥 Feedback Quest 8: indiegames X indie streamers - itch.io

There are tons of cool projects in this jam! And almost every genre imaginable is represented, including but not limited to other RPGs. So feel free to come and check out the indie games on display, and maybe rate / comment on a few projects if so inclined. Incidentally, Moonfell was selected as the winner of Feedback Quest 6, so there's a lot riding on this!

OK not really, the competition is just for fun:)

Thanks for your continued support!

I appreciate every download, comment, wishlist, review, "let's play", and social media interaction. Indeed, the positive responses I've seen from players are a big motivating factor to keeping this project going strong.

We even got featured on YouTube! Along with some other notable recent & upcoming RPG Maker projects.

So that's all for now, but I will be back with periodic teasers and further news posts as development continues.

Until then!
