Monster Mash changes
It’s here! You can play a free demo of Monster Mash while we’re in Early Access! This demo showcases a beginning level, Metroville, USA, as well as some basic weapons and snacks. There is more content that exists already and even more planned beyond that. I’m super excited to share more and more as it becomes ready.
Nothing is more critical right now than getting this feeling right. Monster Mash is still in a very early state, so all the feedback possible is crucial and absolutely appreciated.
Join our Discord server which is also pretty new. Players can report bugs and problems in the #bugs channel.
Known Bugs:
No music! The game is very quiet right now but there’s custom music being made right now!
Sometimes a weapon can attach to the player’s hand at an incorrect orientation or at a small distance away.
Sometimes a weapon won’t destroy a building right away if the collider is moving very fast, or very slowly.
Static objects can get stuck to the player’s hand after releasing the object, but can still be destroyed by smashing it on something else.
Hands are frozen in position while the tutorial prompt is active. The laser pointer line will bend, allowing you to still select buttons.
Some weapons or snacks might not have icons associated yet and will appear as the monster’s head in the Logbook once acquired.
The Logbook still has placeholder text in some places.
