Hi Invaders!

It’s been about five days since the Monolith: Rogue TD playtests began, and I wanted to share a small update. So far, over 500 players have already tried the alpha version of the game, and many of you have left incredibly helpful feedback.

As a solo developer, seeing people play the game and share their thoughts is both exciting and a little surreal. Thank you to everyone who took the time to jump in and test the game.

There’s already a lot of feedback to go through, and I’ll soon start looking closely at how it can be addressed in the demo, next playtests, and 1.0 version of the game.

Playtests Continue Until the End of March

If you haven’t tried the playtest yet, there’s still time. The playtests will remain available until the end of March, so feel free to jump in, experiment with the systems, and see how far you can push your invasion.

If you do play, I’d really appreciate hearing what you think. You can share feedback in several places:

  • the Steam Community Hub

  • the feedback survey available in the playtest

  • the Tate Multimedia Discord server

Every bit of feedback helps improve the game.

Community Giveaway Next Week

Next week we’re also planning a big community giveaway together with our publisher Tate Multimedia and our hardware partner SteelSeries. More details will be shared soon - so keep an eye on the Steam page and social channels.

Devlog #2 Coming This Week

Later this week I’ll also publish Devlog #2 here on Steam. In that post I’ll talk a bit about:

  • the origins of Monolith: Rogue TD

  • what inspired the project

  • how development of the game started

If you're curious about the story behind the game, stay tuned!

Thanks again to everyone who has already joined the playtest.
