Happy May, everybody! As usual, the next patch for Mondrian - Plastic Reality is shaping up to be a big one. I wish I could stop but I just keep running into things that are in major need of fixing.

changedThis time around is controller functionality. Specifically, the game only would only read the first controller it detected. This is now somewhat mitigated by being able to manually select which controller you want to use if you have multiple controllers attached. The button under Options > Gameplay will now show you the name of the selected controller AND its number, in case you have multiple of the same type plugged in.
fixedI plan to push this update to the default branch in like 3 weeks or so, just in time for the monthly sale. As always, please let me know if you run into any issues and I shall get them fixed up.

Happy May, everybody! As usual, the next patch for Mondrian - Plastic Reality is shaping up to be a big one. I wish I could stop but I just keep running into things that are in major need of fixing.

This time around is controller functionality.

At the moment, though, the overrides from Steam Input make this read "Xbox 360 Controller" no matter what you have plugged in, and seems to still be limiting this to one controller. This is probably because the game uses the "Generic Controller" setting, so I'll be looking into what I can do with Steam Input mapping to help fix this. For the time being, I recommend disabling Steam Input if you have multiple controllers plugged in and you don't know which one the game is looking for.

In the midst of all these controller updates, I realized how frustrating it was to work on anything in the Main Menu, so I've revamped and simplified all the code for it. Not a small undertaking and as usual I still have to go through every menu function with a fine-tooth comb to make sure everyone is in working order.

I plan to push this update to the default branch in like 3 weeks or so, just in time for the monthly sale. As always, please let me know if you run into any issues and I shall get them fixed up.
