addedHey all! I half-wasn't expecting to do an update this month, but a couple new bugs rolled around and we can't have that. Literally this update is just two bug fixes, so here we go.
fixedBug FixesSplash Screen: Fixed Steam Cloud defaults causing the game to set up incorrectly, which meant Levels, Backgrounds, etc. wouldn’t be present in the content folder. The game now checks for a Mondrian Maker settings file to be present. If it isn’t, the setup runs as intended.
fixedBug FixesStudio: Fixed One-Color backgrounds displaying in Black & White at first if the scene loaded using a Random color harmony.
fixedBug FixesNow that these are sorted, I feel that much more confident in getting the physical edition underway, so maybe now FINALLY I can get some updates out on that soon. Otherwise I will just continue plugging away on next Lantana project and I can't wait to show you what I've been cooking in Godot over the last couple of years!
fixedBug FixesSpeaking of Godot - and I'm gonna tangent here a little bit - I am helping out a little with GodotCon Boston this year.GodotCon is an event which aims to give the Godot community a place to meet in person and exchange knowledge. Whether it’s through inspiring talks, networking, or showcasing games and projects, the event is all about building connections and exchanging knowledge. I'm getting the social events set up, preferably with firepits. So if you are a fellow game developer, publisher, programmer, artist, etc. with interest in Godot and Godot projects, this is the place to be. Seriously, last year's GodotCon was unbelievable. It's two days (three if you count the Workshops) of straight conversation about game development, Godot, open source, etc. WITH snacks! Really hard to beat. Early Bird ticket pricing is ending very soon, so if you were thinking of attending, now's the time to lock in. The main event is July 21-22 at the Microsoft NERD center, with Workshops on the 20th.
