changedHello hello! After an unexpectedly long three weeks, I'm back with POTENTIALLY the final beta for "The Last Exhibit." I actually can't even remember specifically what's in the build, but I do know there a few key additions worth mentioning:
changedMuseum plaques have gotten a big overhaul with bigger text, shorter difficulty descriptions, and updated difficulty select buttons.
changedThe method for adjusting the capture area in Mondrian Studio has changed from Screen Size to Window Size. This way, if you play the game in Windowed mode, it will actually capture and appropriately-sized image from the game window, rather than from your entire screen.
fixedFixed the Color Shuffle Toggle button in Mondrian Maker not working with just selecting it when using a controller.
changedAs I mentioned, this is potentially the last Beta update for The Last Exhibit, and this means I need your feedback more than ever. If you do run into bugs, please send them along and I will do my best to get them cleaned up before the end of the month.
addedThe final version of this update is shaping up to be way more than just an update though. All the video channels are going to see daily uploads of Speedpaints and a brand new "Mondrian Moments" series, bite-sized tutorials for Mondrian Maker and Mondrian Studio ( so be sure to follow ). The manual will be getting a POD paperback edition. I still need to get some new levels uploaded to Workshop. Just... ARGH there's a lot.

  • Museum plaques have gotten a big overhaul with bigger text, shorter difficulty descriptions, and updated difficulty select buttons.

  • The "Rotation" slider in Mondrian Studio's Custom Framing section is now limited to just 0° or 90°.

  • The method for adjusting the capture area in Mondrian Studio has changed from Screen Size to Window Size. This way, if you play the game in Windowed mode, it will actually capture and appropriately-sized image from the game window, rather than from your entire screen.

  • Fixed the Color Shuffle Toggle button in Mondrian Maker not working with just selecting it when using a controller.

  • The manual has received some updates and will probably receive a few more as editing gets underway.

But yes, for now, please give the build some tests and let me know if you run into any issues. As always I will do what I can.

Thank you as always for your support, and hope to see you at the finish line in a couple weeks.
