Map update, thoughts on balance and whats to come in the future

Good morning everybody, It has been a while. Let me show you what we have done and what will come in the future. Huge effort went into improving the map. Now it looks beautiful and also has parkour movement at its core.

addedBalancingOur thought behind the new map design is the following. The jungle consists of two floors. When you are on the top floor of the map, you have a big advantage in ganking the enemy lanes and better vision over the battlefield. To balance this out, we decided to place the strong monsters in the lower layer while the easy monsters that give less resources are on the top floor.
addedBalancingThe top lane has a lot of objects in it that can be used for parkour while the bot lane does not. It is gone be a very interesting to see how the metas in the lanes develop because of this. Axe and other heavy weapons will likely prefer the less parkoury area because the slippery weapon users will have a harder time avoiding them.
fixedMonsters didnt spawnWe have a bug right now that Monsters only spawn for the host player. We concentrated on making the lane fun so it went on the low priority box. This will be fixed soon. After testing the new arena we of course have to balance it out. We will remodel small parts If needed.
changedHoming tower shotsNow the tower shots will home in on the attack, garanteeing damage on them.
fixedLots of bug fixesThere are ton of minor bugs that we will tackle in the future.

Whats to come

Homing tower shots

A great disadvantage of the boltthrower was always that the axe could pressure him early on. Even under tower which should be a safe zone for the team. The towers projectiles could be dodged easily and made it a pushover.

Now the tower shots will home in on the attack, garanteeing damage on them.

Lots of bug fixes

There are ton of minor bugs that we will tackle in the future.
