Demo Update 1.1.1 is live

This is a big one for the demo as we're bringing it in line with the latest version of the full game. We've packed in a huge number of fixes, quality of life improvements, and stability updates, many of which came directly from your feedback. Here's the full breakdown:

New Features

  • Added search functionality to the Tech Tree

  • Added notifications showing DataShard costs when buildings begin upgrading

  • Added independent sliders for Machine and Environment volume

UI & Polish

  • Building production icons no longer overlap inside the Operators view

  • Fixed DataShard icons displaying the wrong colour during building upgrades

  • Improved upgrade notifications

  • Various UI polish and translation improvements

  • Added smoother audio fade-outs for the intro sequence

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed the game getting stuck while loading saves from the pause menu

  • Fixed loading not always restoring previously unlocked Tech Tree nodes

  • Fixed drones being saved in an invalid pending spawn state

  • Fixed Harvester Pads throwing exceptions when undoing or redoing movement

  • Fixed Harvester Pads and moving buildings causing null reference exceptions

  • Fixed buildings losing progress on non-shape resources

  • Fixed broken Stamper behaviour

  • Fixed assembler edge cases and configuration issues

  • Fixed blue paint subquests not being detected correctly

  • Fixed Tech Tree search issues

  • Fixed building output shortcut behaviour

  • Fixed production icon related null reference errors when moving buildings

  • Fixed auto-upgrade DataShard deduction errors

  • Fixed blank input/output renders

  • Fixed linking soft-locks when exiting the linking tool

  • Fixed machine and environment sound settings

  • Fixed multiple null reference exceptions

  • Fixed several crashes caused by building movement

Performance & Stability

  • Improved save stability in several edge cases

  • Fixed crashes caused by missing exception handling during save backups

  • Improved assembler stability

  • Numerous performance improvements, stability fixes and internal optimisations

  • Fixed various edge-case exceptions across gameplay systems
