Adventurers, it has been a long time since our last Steam post, and you deserve a real one. Here is where Mithrall stands, what we have been building in the quiet, and what arrives on June 15.

Mithrall is not a dead game
Let us say it plainly: Mithrall is very much alive. The team has grown, our capabilities have grown, and we made a deliberate choice to go heads-down and rebuild rather than rush another playtest. Some systems that played well in our last test are being deepened. Others are being rebuilt from the ground up, because Mithrall deserves its best version before we scale to 15,000-player wars.

We have a new home
Our brand new official website is live, with the trailer, the world, and the ten pillars of the game all in one place.
A big direction change: Mithrall is going third person
One of the most important calls we have made is moving the camera from first person to third person. We were first-person purists, then we got honest about what makes a game like this feel its best, and we chose one great camera over two mediocre ones. We wrote a full dev blog on exactly why.
