Dev Note - December 2025, Demo Update

Here are the development updates for the first week of December.

Text Revisions

Adjusted certain lines in the prologue, specifically the section introducing Le verrier and Elüene.

Tileset Bug Fixes

Fixed an issue where the player character’s shadow would appear cut off when walking beside certain objects.

Prologue Map Expansion

A new map has been added to the prologue section.

This includes the bathhouse map and a residential house map.

Regarding Tumblbug Backer IDs

As mentioned in the previous update, all Tumblbug backer IDs can now be entered at the character creation point to obtain the shared backer reward.

In the newly added dormitory map in the prologue, the storage cabinet on the top floor is locked with a text-input combination system. Entering your backer ID as the password will grant access to the reward. This serves as an early example of future text-input puzzles that will appear later in the game.

However, some backers may wish to enter their ID later, or may prefer not to use their original ID at all. We are preparing an update that will allow any custom code chosen by the backer to unlock the same shared reward.

Regarding Creation Rights

We would like to once again express our gratitude to those who supported the Creation Rights tier. Thank you for sharing ideas and taking part in shaping the development of Mistworld.

As Chapter 2 is currently in production, we plan to privately share its content with eligible backers in early 2026. At that time, we will discuss where and how your NPCs, item rewards, or maps will be incorporated.

We will do our best to implement your contributions as faithfully as possible.
