Here’s the latest patch update for the coop_test_branch (v0.7.0.14b). Details below 👇
Environments
Zone 0 - Playable Area Update
- OrangeAreas where interactive objects have been added, but loot is not implemented yet.
- PurpleNewly added shelters or buildings with fully functional interactive objects.
Blue: Stage 2 infected spawn locations.
Bug Fixes
Fixed : save-related issue.
Fixed : an issue where some UI buttons were not displayed correctly.
Features
Movement keybindings, Melee Atk and NPC command keybindings are now available. Keyboard and mouse keybindings are now fully functional.
Added functional Alien Poles and Nests.
Added Infected Stage 2:
Stage 2 infected are no longer afraid of sunlight and can roam outdoors.
They are faster and have higher HP.
Added more interactable objects and storage, including container doors, and the jukebox (jukebox functionality will be added in a future update, it can only be collected for now).
Expanded interactions for potential shelters and buildings, with full interaction support for interior objects, including lights and generators.
Work In Progress
At the moment, there are around 10 core systems left to bring back to feature parity with the old build. I’m pushing to get these done as soon as possible.
Two systems will likely need to be rewritten due to their foundations not being solid enough: the Quest system and the Trailer/Caravan system. These will continue to be developed after 0.7.0 is available on the test branch.
