Minigunner Build 0.8.7.0 Patch Notes
Why do I hear boss music...? The ABYSSAL WARDEN can give you the answer! This massive update brings an intense new boss fight, as well as a ton of boss fight system polish! We've added a lot of art to various aspects of boss fights, including the boss arena environments, the elevator descent loading screen, the boss intro screen, and more! We also made various gameplay and item balancing improvements that we're really excited about, not to mention the addition of a few new items and achievements.

General
-NEW BOSS: The ☠️ ABYSSAL WARDEN ☠️ This boss can be encountered in the fourth bossfight after defeating wave 16, and will be quite the formidable foe!
-The new boss introduces a new hazard: Plasma Chains! The boss will try to lock you down in certain sections of the room with these terrifying chains! They will inflict the Sticky debuff if you make ANY contact with them. (Even attempting to roll over them!) The debuff will slow your movement speed and cripple the recharge rate of your combat roll, so even though the debuff does no damage itself, its long duration makes you particularly vulnerable to taking a lot of damage from the boss. Be careful!
-Added new art to the underground boss arenas! Each boss will have a unique environment:
Level 1: The Upper Mine
Level 2: Ore Loading Zone
Level 3: Wastewater Pumping Station
Level 4: Heavy Excavation Site
-Added new location flavor text that appears when you enter a new zone
-Added a new animation to elevator loading screen, it will now show your chosen mercenary, as well any sentries or drones that you are bringing with you to the boss fight
-The loading screen will now display useful tips based on your chosen mercenary, the boss fight you are entering, and the items you have in your inventory!
-Added new art and animations for boss fight intro screen!
-Improved power outage visuals and warning screen
-Added new music to boss fights that adapts to the gameplay, increasing in intensity when the boss becomes enraged!
-Updated main menu early access screen to show our current progress and planned content, with links to the full roadmap and patch notes!
-📡 The ceiling lights in the mining lift repair room now fade out when you or an enemy pass underneath them
-Improved VFX for various item and status effects
-Added a few additional SFX (WIP)
Bosses
-The Elder Spitter Added a new indicator for projectiles stuck to walls that shows the direction that they will fire out towards
-The Giga Beamer Fixed some visual inconsistencies where boss animations were not aligned with some attacks Tweaked attack 2 to make the enraged/ unenraged versions more distinct Tweaked attack 4 to make the super beam more dynamic, the boss will now vary between shorter and longer charge up times, be ready to react accordingly!
-The Frigid Frostblaster Fixed some bugs related to the ice pillars Improved the visuals of the icicle projectiles
Enemies
-All Enemies Standardized enemy healthbar colors: each color can now hold up to 500 health
-Sniper The targeting laser will now glow brighter to warn you when it's about to fire!
-Bomber Updated projectile art and visuals Bomb projectiles now explode with a thicker wave of projectiles that travel slower than before Cooldown time after attacking increased 2 seconds -> 5 seconds
-Obliterator Updated art and animations for the death orb that it drops when it dies Death orb projectile range greatly decreased Death orb projectile firerate greatly increased Death orb's lifetime greatly decreased These changes aim to make the orb less 'long duration, long range, & annoying' and more 'short duration, short ranged, & scary'. The new animations also make it much more telegraphed.
Transaction Stations
-Tweaked the appearance of the Automated Lockers, Mining Equipment Crate, Large & Small Lockboxes, and Large & Small Storage terminals to better show what rarity of items you will be getting from them
-Standard Trade Computer & Executive Trade Computer Now have a new animation on their screens that do a better job of showing what these interactables do
Sentries & Drones
-All sentries and drones have had their icon sprites touched up!
-LVL 1 Sentry Has been renamed to 'Outpost Sentry'
-LVL 2 Sentry Has been renamed to 'Compound Sentry'
-LVL 3 Sentry [Forge Upgrade] Has been renamed to 'Fortress Sentry'
Items
-Safety Cone Increased base max health 20 -> 24 Increased max health growth per threat level +2 -> +4
-Beamer Brigade's Bugle Increased beamer max health per stack +24 -> +32
-Explosive Detonator Increased explosion stun time 1 second -> 2 seconds
-CMC Resupply Shipment Renamed to CMC Supply Requester Updated item icon art This item can now stack! Additional stacks now reduce the cooldown waves required between resupplies!
-Whispering Lantern Increased damage boost from leveling up +10% (max +50%) -> +15% (max +75%)
-Cozy Space Heater Increased debuff duration reduction 60% -> 75%
-Fusion Core Reduced kills needed for each damage increase 12 -> 10
-Superheated Prism Chance for crits to ignite enemies reduced 100% -> 50%
-Red Matter Duplicator Scrap interest percentage on wave end increased +10% -> +12%
-CANARY Drone Pack Defense drones spawned on activation increased +1 -> +2
-Unstable Isotope NEW: In addition to its existing effect, now also shields the reactor when it takes lethal damage, making it immune for 12 seconds and granting it massively increased repair rate for the duration! (Shield can only trigger once per wave)

Enemies take increased burn damage and burning enemies explode on death, igniting nearby enemies!
Unlocked by default!
Legendary Tier -Star Forger's Armor 💫
Gain a regenerating piece of celestial armor that empowers you when it gets destroyed
UNLOCKED WITH NEW ACHIEVEMENT: Indestructible Defeat a boss after taking at least 6 damage during the fight

These bugs have been squashed!
-Fixed an issue where firerate candy from the Candy Jar would reduce firerate instead of increase it (whoops!)
-Fixed issue where re-applying a status effect would fully reset effect ticks, leading to a case where constantly refreshing a DOT effect like fire or poison would lead to that effect never ticking / dealing damage
-Fixed Ice pillars in the Frostblaster's chamber losing their frost zone particles once spawn animation completed
-Fixed Ice pillars in the Frostblaster's chamber showing flavor text and rotated stuck entities (drillmines)
-Fixed an issue where leaving the boss arena or mining lift with multiple sentries placed would cause you to both lose access to one of those sentries and also softlock you
-Uncommon denominator was not using owned legendary items to calculate the discount
-Fixed a bug that prevented music from playing from the game start
-Additional minor bug fixes
