This is the commander speaking!

We’re excited to announce that Mini Tank Mayhem will soon open a new Playtest Access for selected players! This playtest is a small but important step toward polishing the full experience before our January 2026 release.

Over the past few months, we’ve been working hard on improving gameplay flow, fixing bugs, tightening balance, and refining the overall feel of the battlefield. Now we’re ready to gather real feedback from players who want to help shape the final version of the game.

This is your limited chance to get hands-on with the Mini Tank Mayhem Playtest! Playtest access closes on 5 December 2025, so hop in while you still can.

Changelog:

General

  • Hyena receives a full reworkit now gains +2 ATK each time a Tank is destroyed, and on play, destroys the nearest Tank in range, gains its base ATK, and draws a card. Its base ATK is also increased from 5 to 6 to improve its impact.
  • Added Loading Screen transition in Mini Tank Mayhem.

  • Added new enemy variants: Absorber, Anti, Batross, Carapace, Crowcon, Darkhog, Drill, Elusion, and many more.

  • Updated enemy visuals and VFX

  • Added Liquid Fire (Tank) which is a tank that applies burn to enemies.

  • Added Claw Hand (Tank) which is a close-range tank that attacks with fast melee hits.

  • Added Gauge Bullet (Module) which is a module that increases damage the longer it fires.

  • Added Burn Up (Module) which is a module that boosts attack power but gradually consumes the tank.

  • Added Metal Detector (Tank) which is a tank that generates extra resources when enemies are defeated.

  • Added Lightweight Bullet (Module) which is a module that increases firing speed for faster attacks.

  • Added Furnace (Tank) which is a tank that converts burn or heat effects into additional power.

  • Added Extractor (Tank) which is a tank that produces resources from destroyed tanks or enemies.

  • Added Incinerator (Tank) which is a tank that applies heavy burn and area damage.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed lighting issue when hovering over a stage on the map.

  • Fixed enemy gaining Speed after being hit by the Debris slow effect from Debris Cannon, causing it to move faster instead of slowing down.

  • Fixed tooltip that occasionally appeared in the wrong position.

  • Fixed frame artifact appearing during unlock animations.

  • Fixed minor UI issue where character portraits looked jagged.

  • Fixed tooltip being cut off when drafting options exceeded three cards.

  • Fixed hand position not centering correctly when certain artifacts were active.

  • Adjusted the downward arrow indicator so its layering is now positioned behind the Tank info panel.

  • Fixed misaligned tooltip.

  • Fixed visual range for Electron being too small. The effect range was correct, only the visual was updated.

  • Fixed barrel animation not playing when opening the Pause screen.

  • Fixed tooltip getting cut off when drafting options are more than 3.

  • Fixed hand position not centered when an artifact effect is active (assumed caused by Biosphere).

  • Fixed lighting on base and portal looking less smooth.

  • Fixed frame artifact appearing during unlock animation.

  • Fixed an error that occurred when deploying Blaster on a tile which caused the game to freeze.

  • Fixed unnatural jittering on the hover effect when selecting artifacts.

Balance

  • Electron has its AOE range reduced from 180 to 100, making its explosions less punishing.

  • Belcher now heals nearby enemies for 3 HP every 0.5 seconds, giving it a clearer support role.

  • Sponge has its HP lowered from 250 to 120, preventing it from stalling waves for too long.

  • Splits now splits into 3 units instead of 2, and each small Split spawns with 40% HP instead of 30%, increasing swarm pressure.

  • Storkk gets an HP increase from 180 to 250, improving its survivability.

  • Blob has its slow effect strengthened from 50% to 70%, making it more punishing when it connects.

  • Taunter receives a shield increase from 155 to 180, giving it more frontline durability.

  • Hyena has its ATK buff reduced from +2 to +1, slightly lowering its damage amplification potential.

  • Scrappy Scrapper now costs 8 instead of 7, and its speed increases from 1 to 1.5, making it pricier but faster to respond.

  • Hyena receives a full reworkit now gains +2 ATK each time a Tank is destroyed, and on play, destroys the nearest Tank in range, gains its base ATK, and draws a card. Its base ATK is also increased from 5 to 6 to improve its impact.
  • Scrappy Scrapper now has a new description: Splash. Costs 1 less for each Tank destroyed this Stage. On Play, grants +60% ATK to all Tanks and gives 2 Tank Scraps. Exhausts.

  • The Amalgam gains a new effect: Splash. Gains the ATK and HP of all Tanks destroyed by the spell. Exhaust.

  • Energy Harvester now destroys the nearest Tank, refunds the Energy used to play that Tank, and spawns a Spawnling in its place. Its cost is reduced from 4 to 2, and ATK lowered from 10 to 7. (Refunds the Energy paid, not the card’s original cost.)

  • Absorber nowSplash. When the wave starts, destroys a random adjacent Tank and gains its base ATK for this turn only. Its ATK is reduced from 10 to 8. (ATK refers to base, not total.)
  • Assembler now activates on the next turn: destroys the weakest Tank, transfers its base ATK to a random Tank, and draws a card. Exhausts. (Weakest = lowest total ATK.)

  • Data Transfer now triggers when a Tank is destroyed, transferring 20% of its total ATK to all Tanks in the area, then breaks. Its cost increases from 2 to 3.

  • Double Up (Module) now grants +1 ATK and +50% SPD, then destroys the attached Tank at the end of the wave and adds a copy with double ATK to the discard pile. Fragile.

  • Amalgamation (Spell) now destroys Tanks in the area, gives a 0-cost The Amalgam, and draws 1 card for every 2 Tanks destroyed.

  • Force Upgrade (Spell) now forces a Tank to destroy a random adjacent Tank and gain its total ATK for this turn only, and its cost is increased from 1 to 2.

  • Battle Scavenger (Spell) now destroys a Tank, then discards random cards equal to its base cost (up to 3). Grants +10% ATK per discarded card to 3 random Tanks, for up to +30% ATK.

  • Colored Push Pin (Artifact – Platoon) now grants a random buff (+30% ATK, +30% SPD, or +10 Range) to another random Tank whenever you destroy a Tank.

  • Counter Measure now activates only once per Stage, dealing 50 damage to all enemies the first time your Base takes damage.

  • Strange Stopwatch now refunds 50% Energy for the first 3 cards you play each Stage, boosting early-turn economy.

  • Unstable Zapper now gives 1 Energy and a Spawnling when destroyed, and 1 Energy plus a card draw when discarded. Its range is increased from 35 to 40.

  • Mutant Expert gets a stronger buff, increasing its ATK boost from +30% to +50%.

  • Class B Armor/Resist increases from +25% to +30%, giving tanks more durability.
