Mineral Defense changes
This update brings multiple changes and improvements, most notably:
Sniper Tower - A large, long range tower that has a 50% chance to critically hit, causing huge damage and damage efficiency!
Drill Upgrades - The drill now has upgrades in the form of manual upgrades, and random card draws!
Visual Improvements - The Supply Cache now has an on-screen UI indicator, now it will be much more visible. - The range indicator circle now is 3D, colored, and in general much nicer to look at. It also clearly displays the range of the tower in a way much better than previously.
Turret Settings Defaults - You can now Set/Clear/Use default settings for towers! There are 3 new buttons in the target preference setting of the towers. Hover over them to see their tooltips.
Cylindrical Range - Previously, tower range was calculated in a sphere. Now, it is a cylinder. This makes it easier to know what enemies a tower can hit, and what it can't. The range indicators for towers and abilities has also been updated, and looks much better.

- Sniper Tower: High range, High damage, critical hit chance, minimum range. Crits are strong against all health types. - Added critical hit chance. Crit is currently only used for the Sniper. It will increase damage and increase damage efficiency. - Added preferential targeting. Now turrets will try to avoid enemies if they still have health/armor/shield and the turret is weak against that health type.
Example
The Gatling turret will now shoot enemies that have no armor and no shield first, still considering their target preference. - Set turret default settings, you can set/clear/use default target settings for each turret type. - Added a discard button to supply cache rewards, now you are no longer forced to take a reward if it would be bad for you. - Added an on screen indicator widget for supply caches, making them more visible - Added a max potential power draw display in the power section of the HUD - Added a popup explaining that some structures require card draws after research - Added hotkeys for copy/paste turret settings - Added a hotkey for toggling enemy stat bars - Added upgrade levels and card draws for the Drill
Changed: - Multiple damage numbers spawned from the same damage source in the same frame will now have an offset (Such as when damage overflows from shield->armor or armor->health) - Reduced armor of Flaming Skull and Military Bot - Increased Shield of Crystalline Aberration - Reduced the amount of military bots that spawn - Railgun projectile damage falls off by 25% per hit enemy - Improved ability radius indicators - Improved structure radius indicators - Structure menu now has a scroll bar instead of multiple rows - Meteor and Remote Detonate abilities now do a minimum % of enemy health as damage, making them more useful late game - Changed the health bars into a compact style - Turret range is now calculated as a cylinder rather than a sphere - Increased the max zoom - Changed all reroll research to only add 1 reroll - Performance optimizations - Turrets can now shoot vertically even if they cannot entirely rotate to face the enemy on the vertical axis
Fixed: - Pressing a disabled button on the structure widget will no longer close the widget. - Fixed placeable tiles on some land segments - Stopped research cards formatting changing when hovering them - Supply Caches now save and load - Fixed damage numbers rising forever for certain towers such as laser - Prevent opening multiple supple caches at once - Fixed bug causing duplicated status effect icons - Fixed a bug where you can continue a game when your ship has 0 health - Fixed arrow key camera movement occasionally not working - Enemy walking animation now correctly changes play speed with enemy size - Fixed a bug where towers could charge power above their maximum - Fixed stat list formatting for the drill multiplier stat - Fixed overdrive not affecting higher towers, such as those on platforms
