Mercenary Brotherhood changes
This hotfix addresses some concerns with building and wall battles. Those fights were cramped, it was hard to navigate stairs and they led to bottlenecks. Now certain units can jump, fly or climb castle walls or go through windows. Walls can also be pulled down by using the Canopy button (name will change later). Many other tweaks and fixes as reported by players. Tip:
Have you ever used your Ogre to throw a smaller ally? Great for getting behind enemy lines or up onto walls.
Performance
Performance improvement when zoomed in on hilly battles
Usability/UI
Canopy button now makes walls shorter as well, making it easier to see in buildings
Right clicking on units in the work units in the initiative menu will open their character sheet
Clicking H will jump to the next visible enemy which is useful when units are in buildings or on the second floor
You can now access your company in settlements using a new Recruit page
Tweak end of battle message
When climbing stairs, you no longer need to move to the stairs, wait and then click the next floor. You just click the next floor and immediately move there
Balance
Slightly increase xp for first couple levels. Much more enjoyable once starting to level up
No recruiting more than 1 adventurer from same company within 30 days and not the last one
Battle maps
Replaced the existing town wall map battle. It wasn't interesting enough and tweaks were not getting what I was hoping for. Might revisit this in the future
Gameplay
Arachne start with ability to default climb large heights and walls
Leap and short flight abilities will now allow landing on walls or going over smaller obstacles
Units have a chance to learn bardic skill by equipping musical instruments in battle
Fixes
Unit gravestones and a battle monument will no longer be on the same tile
On some smaller resolutions a couple buttons in battle were not clickable even though the hotkeys worked
Long Trust skill doesn't show dmg prediction
Fixed issue where sometimes units could use abilities but not enough fatigue to move or attack
Fix problem with changing resolutions caused issues until restarting
Fixing issue with a couple of caster focused area of effect abilities like Life of Bloom and Mass Haste not working
Misc
Backend work to support long term localization efforts
Add Chadwick to credits for village portraits
