Melon Rally changes
New features
Non-linear levels
When you go into the level select, there's now a new "Non-Linear" level section. This is for levels that don't follow a specific path and can be completed in many ways. For now there's a single track, but it's a core area I'll expand on for the full game.
Settings
There are now settings to change the UI scale and audio volume.
Best time
For now, your best time on a level will be shown after beating it. This will be changed in the next update though, as there will be more categories to beat.
Balancing
The tarmac traction has been reduced by 20%.
Coming next
Scoring system
As mentioned above, the next update will add best times for 3 categories in each track:
All melons kept - best time for completing the stage without losing any melons.
Any melons - best time for beating the stage, regardless of melons.
No melons remaining - best time for completing the stage with 0 melons remaining.
Tweaks and tutorials
The grip on the gravel causes problems for some players. I'll probably add some cornering tutorials and/or tweak the grip.
