addedCooking improvements - you are allowed to have 1 oven per house and better ovens are available from Bob's store when you upgrade your house. Ovens cook food but it now takes time. You can queue up more items if you get a better oven. The value of meals has gone up to reflect the time it takes to make - so if a recipe takes 2 beets to make it should sell for more than the value of selling 2 beets. I'm considering adding quality levels to meals - any thoughts on that?
removedI'd like to make the refrigerator behave as a container for the oven recipes but that's for another update unfortunately. I currently am debating some of the ingredients that you just buy from Melody - I'd like to make the recipes a little simpler by removing those cheap ingredients you can simply buy in bulk from the store.
addedRemoved fishing minigame - it's now just click and collect. The time you have to click is pretty relaxed now too. I want people to be able to zone out while fishing and relax and the quick time minigame is kind of the opposite of that. Overall I'm not sure fishing minigames really add a whole lot to these kinds of games. I'm on the fence about it. Perhaps a certain type of really well implemented minigame would be good but for now I'll just remove it. It also makes fishing faster so overall it's a buff to fishing.
changedSlightly increased movement speed and significantly increased swing speed. Swing speed is pretty fast now so enjoy it while it lasts...
addedAdded some new wood furniture. Furniture is really lacking - sorry about that. Now you can make some basic chairs and a table so that's something. Maybe I'll try to add a few pieces each update.
addedThe columns in the new mines have been shortened so you can see better in the mines (although it's pretty dark). Also there are pits now - but you can't fall in them. And the slimes come in different colors now. I made a slightly new boss but he's not quite in the game yet. I'm thinking of how he would get activated...do you have to find him wandering in the mines or perhaps there's an altar where you can summon him somehow...not sure yet. I think I need to look into how it's done in other games.

You can now use Esc to progress to the next dialogue and instantly skip the typewriter effect. This just saves an extra Esc key press so it's a little faster and cleaner. You can still press Esc and then click on Skip to skip most cutscenes.

Added the dynamic shadows to trees.

This update also comes with the new equip system but that's been on the beta branch for a couple weeks.

Probably some other little stuff but I'm not great at documenting everything.

About the mines - It's been a lot of work to get the procedural generation working well and it still needs some work. Really, I'd like to get some better enemies in the mines but it's hard given the amount of animation required for each of them. I might sacrifice a little bit on the animations and artwork to get some more monsters out quickly. I think once I have this system done I can add 5 different tiers of mines the player can progress through along with the story and it will serve as a good framework for the game.

Anyways, sorry for breaking your saves again and I hope you enjoy the update. See ya next time.
