changedHi everyone. I've been working on an update and I've decided to push it to the beta branch since it will break current saves. I will continue working on it for a couple weeks until I push it to the default branch.
addedThere is no new story in this release but quite a few changes:
addedNew type of mines available. You can mine through walls in any direction (practically endlessly). I will be improving the random generation going forward. Hopefully I can add rivers and pits soon so it feels more alive and adventurous but I think it's already pretty neat as it is. Let me know what you think.
addedNew equip system - you can equip armor and trinkets on your character. I added a few simple sets of armor for now and a trinket that provides some lighting in the mines. Also, you can optionally equip swords and they will show up in the toolbar so you don't have to arrange your inventory. There's a new hotkey to quick switch to your equipped sword (R).
fixedSome new items and things to craft. Generally fixed a bunch of bugs. Wispy will assist you in the mines. The furnace is now a stone furnace with nicer lighting - hoping to add different types of furnaces in the future and probably a tiered workbench system. Cooking will probably change but that's for another update. Villidium ore renamed to Twilight ore because it sounds cooler imo.
removedWill probably remove the fishing minigame completely so speak now if you really want it to stay in the game.

You can move while using tools and swinging swords now. It generally makes the game easier to play and less tedious. I really wanted to be able to hold a direction while mining so now you can.
Will probably remove the fishing minigame completely so speak now if you really want it to stay in the game.
