Melody Mania v1.5.0 has been released! 🎉 This is a major update with improvements and fixes.

Highlights include

• ASIO compatible (experimental). Use professional grade audio hardware on Windows with low latency. ASIO is a registered trademark of Steinberg Media Technologies GmbH.

• Reorder song queue via drag and drop.

• Configure head start time for 'skip to next lyrics'.

Song Select

• Faster scrolling through song list when holding down button for long time.

• Press single letter on keyboard to jump to the corresponding artist / title (depending on selected song order). Pressing more letters will jump to the corresponding song that contains the text, like in previous versions.

• Press "Shift+Right Arrow" resp. "Shift+Left Arrow" to jump to the next resp. previous artist / title (depending on selected song order). Does also work with gamepad shoulder buttons.

• Moved icons out of cover image for better visibility (e.g. duet icon, favorite icon).

• Folder navigation: show preview image on top of folder icon.

• Folder navigation: Restore last selection when one level up.

Mods

• New mod to save mic recording of last song to file.

• Jukebox & sing: prefer songs from the queue, otherwise choose next song randomly.

Fixes

• Fix mp3 inaccuracy when using mp3 file for instrumental or vocals audio.

• Fix duet lyrics container was inverted (top vs. bottom) when StaticLyricsDisplayMode was set to Top.

• Major refactorings to fix various issues and improve stability.

Companion App v1.3.1 has been released for Android. It includes the following improvements.

• Assign random color on first connect.

• Reorder song queue via drag and drop.

• Show message when no microphone could be found (e.g. because of missing Android permissions).

• Compatible with Google Play Games (https://play.google.com/googleplaygames). This allows to use the Companion App also on Desktop devices, e.g., to search and enqueue songs on a separate monitor.
