Features
Perks: Upgrade your skills with minor and major perks. Major perks significantly improve the behavior of each spell.
New Trap: Exploding mushrooms? They're purple, they glow, and they explode!
Major Perks
The following is a quick rundown of the major perks for each skill. There are also two minor perks which slightly improve the core skill.
Fireball: Explodes on impact for additional area damage.
Self Heal: Instantly heals for 100% health.
Blast Wave: Casts a second ring of fire outside of the first after the first expires.
Short Teleport: Teleporting deals damage around the hero at the start and end locations.
Electric Fire: Splits into three separate blasts.
Heat Shield: Deals damage to nearby enemies while active.
Molten Core: Can hit a second enemy, both impacts with area damage.
Fire Wall: Casts a second wall perpendicular to the first.
Improvements
Simple tutorial tooltip when the first perk becomes available.
Can drag the perk to the skill bar to activate that spell.
Reworked projectile casting to support perks.
When opening windows, the most recently opened window will show up on top.
Dragging a spell off the skill bar will remove it from the skill bar.
Dragging spells between slots will swap their positions.
Triggering a boss encounter and being locked out of the encounter area will now allow the encounter to reset.
Minor visual fix to incorrect minimap visual in crypts.
Developer's Note
Spell perks are a major new feature. They vastly expand the various configurations available to load out your hero. You can set up your hero with different focuses, from an AOE damage focus, to a mobility focus, to a defensive focus, to a single target focus. Let me know what you think!
