Thank you so much for following the development of Lumina Veil! If you haven’t had the chance to try out the demo featuring Chapters 1 and 2, now is the perfect time to dive in! You can download the demo on the store page and start playing.
I’m excited to share updates on Chapter 3, which is progressing well. This chapter introduces a special type of enemy that I’m actively testing to ensure the gameplay balance feels just right. Additionally, for the first time, you’ll be able to step outside your apartment and explore what the “real” world truly looks like.
Based on feedback, I’ve also expanded the lore elements. Many of you enjoyed diving into the game’s backstory, so I’ve added more memo pages and implemented a system to group these documents in your inventory by area for better organization.
While working on Chapter 3’s content, I also revisited the basic controls to refine them based on playtesters input. These tweaks are still in progress but will be included in the next version of the playtest build.
