fixed═══════════════════════════════════════ NEW CONTENT ═══════════════════════════════════════ New Relic • Scroll of Flight: Allows travel to any room on the next floor, ignoring path restrictions New Enemies • Sinistermage: A dangerous caster with triple fireball attacks and the ability to teleport away when critically wounded • Stonespawn: A tanky frontline enemy that forces you to attack it with a new Taunt mechanic New Enemy Abilities • Taunt: Forces single-target attacks to hit the taunting enemy • Stun: Prevents actions for a duration ═══════════════════════════════════════ TEMPLE & WEAPON ENCHANTMENT SYSTEM ═══════════════════════════════════════ Major updates to the Temple system and Levels of Magic: Weapon Leveling • Your weapon (Longsword for Berserker) can now be enchanted with Magic • Each Magic level unlocks additional enchantment options • Level costs scale: 1 soul for first level, then +5 per level after. There are 3 levels and rumors speak about a secret hidden 4th level... Enchantments • Visit Temples to add magical enchantments to your weapon • Blood Lightning: Strike enemies with lightning when attacking (random chance that increases with each added enchantment, or click your longsword relic to toggle 100% activation for the cost of 1 life) • Upgrades available: Auto-Strike, Double Damage, Healing, and more • Each Temple offers a choice of upgrades to customize your build Not Implemented: Each class has its own magic system connected to their unique weapon. Beat the game with each character to enable their weapon to be used by other characters. changed═══════════════════════════════════════ BOSS IMPROVEMENTS ═══════════════════════════════════════ Orc Boss Personality • The Orc Boss can now open his mouth when screaming during his Raging Fury buff • Improved visual intensity of the Raging Fury shader effect (now flows upward with aggressive energy) ═══════════════════════════════════════ VISUAL EFFECTS OVERHAUL ═══════════════════════════════════════ Health Bar Improvements • New visual health bars for enemies and player • Block now displays correctly to the right of health, only overlapping when forced • Damage preview system shows exactly what will happen when you attack • Piercing damage preview correctly shows damage bypassing block • Better positioning and cleaner look overall • Hovering End Turn button shows expected damage Shader Revamp • Fixed Battle Frenzy shader - energy now flows upward as intended • Fixed Healing shader not displaying properly • New Healing and Bloodthirst visual effects • Fixed Scent of Blood shader showing square edge artifacts • Fixed Prismatic shader not removing itself when status expires • Multiple status shaders now use proper alpha masking (no more square borders) ═══════════════════════════════════════ PERFORMANCE ═══════════════════════════════════════ • General performance improvements resulting in less stuttering during gameplay ═══════════════════════════════════════ BUG FIXES ═══════════════════════════════════════ Critical Fixes • Fixed an issue with cards that discarded other cards that could break the turn order • Fixed Life Leeching Spellstone relic not triggering properly • Fixed Memorial Shrine exploit where left-clicking the shrine box could grant multiple rewards • Removed debug shortcuts for prestige and boss soul manipulation Card Fixes • Vengeful Strike now works properly (needs more testing) - this finally enables Sacrifice builds! (My friend Fidde finally gets what he asked for!) • My own limited playtest absolutely crushed with Sacrifice builds - prepare to destroy yourself for glory! Progression Fixes • Fixed various issues with Prestige Mode and Discovery Mode unlock tracking • Fixed prestige level display in the Journal ═══════════════════════════════════════ PROGRESSION SYSTEM ═══════════════════════════════════════ For those brave enough to push beyond Normal difficulty: Prestige Ladder: • Win Prestige 0 (Normal) → Unlock Prestige 1 and "Re-roll Starting Relic" in High Town • Win Prestige 1 → Unlock Prestige 2 • Win Prestige 2 → Unlock Prestige 3 • Win Prestige 3 → Unlock Prestige 4 • Win Prestige 4 → Unlock Prestige 5 AND Discovery Mode • Win Prestige 5-9 → Unlock next level • Win Prestige 10 → Maximum reached Discovery Mode: • Unlocked after beating Prestige 4 • Can toggle on/off at any Prestige level • Win Discovery at ANY level → Earn "The Prestige" title Visual Progression: Each Prestige level beaten colors a ball differently in the Little Palace. If you manage to beat all 10 levels, you can prove it! Note: Prestige levels 5 to 10 are not tested or balanced.
