Whether you're a hardened wanderer who calls every corner of the Isle home, or someone who prefers four walls and a roof overhead, knowing where you'll wake up (and how fast you'll be back on your feet when you do) can be the difference between a successful expedition and a long journey just to get your loot back.

Mattress Shopping

There are two sleeping arrangements on the Lost Isle: a sleeping bag and a bed. They serve different players in different moments.

The sleeping bag is your mobile option. It requires no foundation to place, which means you can drop one outside a dungeon, near a dangerous resource node, or anywhere else you're pushing your luck, with a nearby respawn point ready if things go sideways. Keep in mind that sleeping bags are temporary by design; left unattended, they'll decompose on their own over time.

A bed is a different commitment. It requires a foundation, which means it belongs in a proper home or base. If you're part of a clan running multiple outposts across the Isle, a bed in each one goes a long way.

One thing both share: if the structure they're placed on gets destroyed, they go with it. Worth keeping in mind when you're deciding where to set up.

A Home, Not a Base

So how do you actually get comfortable? There are a couple of ways.

The most reliable is a proper home. Build something more permanent, place a property deed, and the building radius you own becomes a source of the Comfortable Buff. The deed is what makes it yours.

But sometimes home is nothing more than a campfire and the company of your fellow survivors at the end of a long day. That works too.
