addedWe have been working behind the scenes though on fleshing out Act 1 as there are still some things we want to add. One of those things is the Dyr faction, which is hinted at in a few scenarios but wasn't added yet.

changedRebalanced all scenarios to have more logical and consistent rewards. A significant part of this balance change is that we've shifted rewards from battle wins to the inherent logic of each situation. For example, if you win a fight against bandits in some uninteresting part of the forest, you will receive only a small reward representing the bandits' personal loot. On the other hand, if you defeat some bandits who are in a camp, you will receive both the reward of the camp, and the small reward of the bandits' loot. Finally, if you lure the bandits away from the camp, and then loot it without a battle, you will receive loot that's quite close to what you received if you brute-forced your way into the camp. This gives more leeway to playstyles that don't involve fighting and winning every fight.

Patch 0.9 is OUT

It contains

  • The new Dyr faction: The Reaver and The Martinet.

  • Added 4 new music tracks: Deepwoods music. Outlands music. Stratha music. Boss music.

  • Added about 50 new scenarios.

  • Rebalanced all scenarios to have more logical and consistent rewards. A significant part of this balance change is that we've shifted rewards from battle wins to the inherent logic of each situation.   • Added new feature: "Fortunes and Predicaments". They are are essentially buffs/debuffs the player can gain depending on actions in scenarios. For example, if you decide to "Leave" early in a scenario instead of investigating an abandoned house, that will now yield you a speed boost to represent the lack of time spent at the house.

  • Revamped UI for Leadership Insights and Tactics.

  • Balance changes and new additions to old units. Some bugs fixed and many tooltips improved.

  • Some minor AI improvements.

  • Some fixes with localization.

Examples of tweaks to abilities:

  • Deft Strike (Spear Perk): No longer triggers multiple times when damage is shared.

  • Poisoner Perk: Poison effect from basic attacks no longer spreads to secondary targets when damage is shared.

  • Blood Amulet Effect: Healing effect now correctly displays the amount healed.

  • ComraderyFixed damage transfer behavior. Damage transfer now properly follows the tooltip’s positioning requirements.
  • On hit effects will no longer be shared to your allies if the damage is transferred.

We would love to hear any feedback you have.

An update on development broadly: The reason there hasn't been as many updates as we'd like is because we are still figuring things out. Unfortunately, we have been unable to keep up with the 2-week schedule we promised before. Not great. We are sorry about that. We will keep you updated on how things develops. Crossing our fingers.
