changedNow when defeating space monsters in addition to a chance for rescuing a leader, or finding a cache of BCs in the case of defeating pirates, there is a chance to recover a technology.
addedSome technologies are unique takes on ones you can research such as the Positron Flux which is a longer range version of the ELF, or the Magnetar which increases damage based on the ship it hits unlike the Pulsar which does damage based on the size of the firing ship. Spatial torpedoes are a new type of direct fire torpedo that also has limited seeking abilities making it a mix between the Antimatter and Plasma types and Ionic and Proton torpedoes.
changedThis update also has a fix for a rare case where destroyed outposts could result in the orbit being lost, which could also cause performance issues for the AI as games progressed.
