Lone Soul changes
While we continue working hard to prepare everything for the October 20th release, we're also making constant improvements here and there. To give you a taste of the upcoming build, we've decided to update the demo once again.
If you haven’t tried it yet, now is the perfect time. And remember, your progression carries over to the full game, so you can gear up in advance and have your character ready for the full tower excursion on release day.

Here's what's new:
Gamepad Improvements
We're continuing to enhance the gamepad experience, both in combat and especially in the UI. Various elements have been polished to feel smoother and more intuitive. For example, in the rune tree, the default path is now followed automatically, letting you apply upgrades within seconds.
Improved AI and Enemy Positioning
To raise the intensity of combat, smaller units like healers will now try to flee from you. We’ve also added more randomized enemy spawns, including the ability for multiple enemies to spawn in the same location, making each encounter less predictable.
And remember: all of this comes on top of the massive previous demo updates. If you haven’t played the demo in a while, there’s a good chance you won’t recognize the game anymore:

...and tons of bug fixes, optimizations, and QoL changes compared to the previous demo.
You can also expect some hotfixes in the coming days that will iron out any remaining issues. We've also compiled a list of known issues we plan to address soon:
Known issues
The current demo version is only available in English, German and Polish (this will be fixed with a hotfix/patch ahead of the release)
Low graphics settings reduce base brightness more than intended
We’d love to hear your thoughts on the new demo. Join us on Discord and leave your feedback. And if you haven’t already, make sure to wishlist Lone Soul on Steam.
