Hey everyone! We're happy to bring you yet again, another patch with many fixes and some new features. This patch should stabilize all the quests and story progression, so let us know how it goes! Our overall focus from now on will be to develop relationships fully and chapter 3, so look out for cool new stuff soon!

Messages from Contacts

Every NPC you meet and get to Acquaintance level with can now send you a message to go hang out from time to time!

Friendships available for Kai, Simon, and Samir!

You can now complete their narrative journey and go to Best Friend Level! We updated Kai quite a bit, in light of that we decided to reset his relationship on all existing save files so everyone can experience the changes we made to him. Some few existing save files that were already Friend level with Simon and Samir may need to reload the game after reaching a certain stage in that relationship.

General Fixes 🎯

• Longer deadlines for job quests claimed from the notice boards! They will also display quantity of items needed for the job.

• Added Black Smart T

• Added White Laptop

• Added Nap interaction to Park Benches

• Using rain coats will cap the increase in wetness when raining

• Deep Scrub interaction now ends automatically when the hygiene is full during the shower

• The Newspaper Stands near the Post Office and Moon Coffee Shop no longer face the road

• The door at the Library's bathroom now opens towards the correct direction

• Prank Calling has new animations

• General improvements on the quest system to make the quest progression more stable

• Fixed Uncle George calling every time the save is loaded

• Fixed "paintings lacking details" on the inventory tooltip

• Fixed unintended behavior when attempting to catch a leaf that has flown away.

• Fixed missing faucet in build mode for Navy bathtub and Navy sink

• Fixes for "A Writer's Mind" main quest:

  • Improved the stability to avoid issues that locks the quest progress

  • NPC no longer glitches the visuals or teleports oddly

  • Chloe follows the player closer than before

UI Fixes & Updates 📊

• Added support for UI Scale to go up to x1.2! This should help out a lot on steam deck

• Fixed loading screen to use UI Scale

• Reworked collections app with controller support

• Reworked subscriptions app with controller support

• Improved phone selection on controller

• Updated checkbox default size to be smaller

• Fixed date string format to remove extra punctuation from short day (eg. "Mon., Spring 9" to "Mon, Spring 9")

• Reworked notifications app with controller support

• Added support for NPC notifications

• Added support for coloured notifications

• Reworked recipes app with controller support

• Improved selecting when scrolling on controller for phone apps to be in middle like settings menu

• Fixed clear basket not resetting pedestal inventory

• Fixed wellbeing icon animations breaking after hiding during some animations

• Fixed wellbeing minimised view to position first slider correctly

Multiplayer Fixes

• Fixed an item duplication issue when Clients dropped items in Multiplayer.
