added*This Update** I wasn't able to get much done content wise because adding in the translation took so much time. So there isn't any new content in the new areas yet, but I'll try to get that finished quickly, likely with a mid-month update. There are several new events to add so we'll see how quickly I can do it or if I can even get it done mid-month.
added*The Next and Future Updates** I'm going to start a poll on Discord the day after this post to determine what the next area will be that gets added. There's 3 groups of additions that will go together to choose from. They will all be added but the choice is to choose which area gets worked on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. After these updates is when I'm going to take a few extra months to work on several changes and additions to the game that will prepare it for a paid launch. This will include adding a main story, editing and adding new skills and passives, several new armors and accessories, and much more that I won't spoil. This update will require new saves, which will make older save files unusable.
changed*The Paid Release** Depending on how quickly I can get everything done mentioned in the previous section, I'm going to try and have the game ready by early next year. At this point, the game will likely be priced between $5-$10, depending on how much value everyone thinks the game has then. However, I do want to reward those of you who have been here supporting the game all this time. So, if you previously donated any amount before August 1, 2026, I'll give you an access key to the game on Itch.io without needing to pay more for it. If you donate at least $3 from now until the end of the year 2026, I'll give you an access key to the game on Itch.io. The access keys wouldn't be given until the game requires payment, and to claim the access key you'll need to dm me on discord with a request and the email you used to purchase so I can verify. I'll only look at and use the information for verification.
changedI should also mention that the game will continue to get new content and updates after this paid release. And I'll still have a version of the game available for free that can have it's saves transferred to the paid version.
changed*Closing Statement** If you want to help support the game, you can leave a review on itch.io and/or Steam to give it more recognition. You won't here me request this often but it does help get the game in front of more people that might be interested. As always, if you come across any bug, errors, or glitches, let me know and I'll fix them when I get a chance depending on the severity. Hope you enjoy your time Adventuring.
addedMajor Changes: - Added partial support for Portuguese and Spanish translation (Thanks to Metal on Discord for looking through and editing some of the Portuguese) - It's partially supported because there is still issues with text being cut off, and maybe some text not getting translated. I've spent probably over 80 hours on just trying to get it working as well as it is now and I need to focus on the content of the game. Getting this to work is taking too much time away from the main game. If someone else that has experience coding wants to contribute, let me know. If you are a native speaker of another language that you want in the game and are willing to look through some of the text, let me know.

Major Changes: - Added partial support for Portuguese and Spanish translation (Thanks to Metal on Discord for looking through and editing some of the Portuguese) - It's partially supported because there is still issues with text being cut off, and maybe some text not getting translated.

  • Added a new AI created plugin that handles text switching for different languages. - Remade the SeaSide Forest South forest areas and renamed it to Vena Forest. - Remade the mountain camp with the bandits and renamed it to Mount Erne. - (These new areas still lack new content)

Minor Changes: - Changed the coastline maps to use a different water and sand texture. - Renamed Wisp to 'Lost Spirit' & 'Wandering Spirit' - Renamed 'Wisp Dust' to 'Spirit Dust' - Fixed a softlock that would happen when clicking the counter in the armor shop in SeaSide (Thanks to Yoru on Discord for reporting it). - Fixed the meditation spot in Nexus Forest South showing up for Forlorn (Thanks to Shapelesss on Itch.io for mentioning it). - Added a second column in the item screen. - Changed the sell value from 50% -> 70% of the item buy price (There's still some exceptions where it can vary). - Changed the item status/info window to display each data point on it's own row. - Fixed the Forlorn Female Renatus having the male Renatus associated images. - Changed the reaction minigame for the Initiate Meditation so it's now easier and immediately fails if you press a button too early. - Fixed the player staying invisible if you lost to the 'pushy protestants' after you already visited the cave you end up in (Thanks to Tsar on Discord for reporting it). - Fixed the rain sound happening inside when it's not raining. - Added a message that lets you know when you've unlocked the Forlorn class. - Edited some of the events and visuals related to the Maze and it's connecting areas. - Added sounds to the map transfers on the main map and gave them sounds depending on what type of area you're going into. - Added a transfer event to the camp below the Castle on the Cliff if SeaSide was destroyed (I guess this hasn't been accessible all this time, even though everything in this area has been complete since it was added). - Added a credit for the AI created plugin that syncs an events move speed with the players since this is now being used in an area that's playable. - Added Goblin sideview battlers for the new goblin random encounter.
