Changes
Made new game mode, "Boss Battles"
Bosses have bonus health
No regular mobs or bonus rooms
Get a free common upgrade at the start of each level
Health does not replenish after advancing level
Made a _score_ board on gameover / victory, more of a stats board than a score board
Made new bonus room that might be hard
Made secret rooms, can you find them?
Made new floor type 'Ethereal'
Made portals not spawn until the boss room has been completly cleared
Made the acquired upgrades menu show how many of an upgrade you have w/ other improvements as well
Made rare upgrades appear yellow in the world and ui
Made it clearer which adventurer is currently selected
Made slimes new and improved
Made more enemy patterns
Made better hearts display in top left
Made subtle glow effect on 'fire' levels water
Made attacks now briefly stun non-boss enemies
Made new enemy 'Seagul' flys up and then dives down
Made new enemy 'Angle' has aoe effect that heals nearby enemies
Made new enemy 'Skeleton Warrior' walks around and attacks with sword
Made more enemies be affected correctly by slows / stuns
Made improvements to enemies reseting
Made final boss drop two gems instead of and upgrade and a gem like a regular boss
Made thunder elementals display the area they'll hit during there smash attack
Made owl npcs stun player while they fly away
Made pots smaller
Made 'fire' level walls brighter
Made various things have sound effects
FIXES
Fixed a bug with controller input on setup menu
Fixed minor rendering bugs with elementals
Fixed levers spawning in unidealic places
BOSSES
NEW: BIG SLIME
Spawns into more slimes each time you kill it
DJINN
Moved from 'classic' to 'ethereal'
ADVENTURERS
GENERIC
Removed the following upgrades:
Extra Gem
Super Sight
Map
Razor's Edge
Gem Cluster
Added the following upgrades:
Move Speed (Common): Increases adventurer's base move speed
Triple Heart (Rare): Increases max health by 3 hearts
Extra Life (Rare): Gives one extra life
Triple Common (Rare): Spawns three common upgrades
Changed the following upgrades:
- Faster DropsChanged from Rare to Common, now reduces the number of enemies killed before a heart drops by one
NEW: RICHARD
Swings a sword and can reflect projectiles
SUZY
Made 'Snow Storm' circle more visible
Ice Patch when 'Snow Storm' expires is now the same size as the snow storm area
Bob
Made spells have a longer cast duration
Increased base width of firebreath
Fireball bounces now transfer to fireballs spawned from internal combustion
Increased the duration of burning up
Minor reduction in fireball base speed
Removed the following upgrades:
Internal Combustion ( Rank 1 )
Internal Combustion ( Rank 2 )
Chain Reaction
Triple Cast
Added the following upgrades
Blazing Balls (Common): Fireballs travel faster
Focused Breathing (Common): Reduces cast duration of firebreath
Long Range Pyrotechnics (Rare): Fireball deals more damage based on distance travelled
Internal Combusion (Rare): Killing an enemy with fireball causes them to explode into 8 fireballs
Changed the following upgrades
Double Cast: Every other cast of fireball makes two fireballs
