Repeated intro

Hello Chefs! Season 3 is very advanced in development and we've started to test it internally (boy is it difficult). In the meantime, to ease the pain of waiting, I've managed to finish up some other tasks from our roadmap to bring you some freshness. Chelsea - our 5th character now enters the competition and she is... hot, hot, hot!

changedIn the post-level summary the characters will now perform a happy-dance to a new music track if you manage to get three stars.
addedWe know the players like to scout out "Who has what ingredient/appliance" before the level starts. We do that too! To make that even easier you can now hide the cookbook after the new stuff presentation but before the level start.
addedThe particle effect for food joining and more notably the trail of thrown food have been refreshed and are now colored differently for each thrown ingredient/dish.
addedWhen adding milk into the dough machine (Season 2) you can now see the remaining milk capacity. Thanks to Michał T. - one of our testing friends for suggesting the idea.

Also, our characters are now animated in some parts of the menu, which is especially significant in the level summary screen. Here is a video of Gloria and Suzie doing the three-stars-happy-dance. We strongly encourage you to dance with them:

Here are all the changes:

  • In the post-level summary the characters will now perform a happy-dance to a new music track if you manage to get three stars.

  • There are also some nice fireworks effects made by Kjell during the happy dance.

  • We know the players like to scout out "Who has what ingredient/appliance" before the level starts. We do that too! To make that even easier you can now hide the cookbook after the new stuff presentation but before the level start.

  • The particle effect for food joining and more notably the trail of thrown food have been refreshed and are now colored differently for each thrown ingredient/dish.

  • During the chef selection the characters are now also animated.

  • When adding milk into the dough machine (Season 2) you can now see the remaining milk capacity. Thanks to Michał T. - one of our testing friends for suggesting the idea.

  • The topping machine (Season 2) now fires new chocolate and sprinkles particles (made by Kjell).

  • The shadows cast by counters and ingredient tables are more realistic.

  • Chefs should no longer switch sides when using blender after coming from the opposite side.

  • Fixed a bug that occurred when activating blender while operating it.

  • Smashing buttons during the loading screen should no longer break the level start sequence (this FUBAR was fixed once before but apparently reappeared).

  • Some level user interface elements were shown on top of the pause menu content. This is no longer true.

This game version now uses the codebase from the "Season 3" branch. This means that: A. We are really close to releasing Season 3. B. New bugs may appear in Seasons 1 and 2.

As always - we are open to all suggestions. If you feel something is missing in Let's Cook Together, please reach out to us on the discussion board or on Discord.
