I'm going to divide the WHAT'S NEW section into categories, because there's a lot to cover this time.

TIME LEAP

  • Two weeks late, but it's finally here! We don't know how many games have two post-game sequences, but LETALIS does and it was always the plan.

  • An option to erase your Time Leap save has been added, allowing players who already started Time Leap to begin it again from scratch. This is completely optional, you can keep playing your current Time Leap save. We've also improved the Main Character's stats.

  • Fixed an issue where a name wasn't being assigned to every instance of the Main Character.

MANUAL SAVE

  • Requested by many of you: you can now toggle AUTOSAVE ON or OFF.

  • This option is also available on the intro settings screen for new players.

INFORMATION & GUIDANCE

  • Added a new NPC near the sick girl's house in Del Paso, providing a much clearer hint about where to find the flower. (You can still miss this if you arrive"too late.")

  • Added a new NPC near the Horseless Wagon, giving you a heads-up about the wild horses in the area.

  • Reworked the Long-Nosed Bandit behind the Brimini Puzzle Door (in the same area as the Sword in the Stone). His dialogue wasn't doing a good enough job of guiding players, so we've rewritten it and added a small new event.

SELL SHOP

  • Letalis that can block quest progression will no longer be available for sale.

  • Updated the UI appearance so it no longer looks identical to the Vault.

CODEX

  • Once you reach 80% LETALIS CODEX completion, you'll find a new marker on Letalis Shops showing which ones have Letalis you still need.

  • Revised and corrected incorrect Beast and Monster location information in the Codex.

WEAPONS & TECHNIQUES

  • Balance adjustments for several weapons and techniques.

  • Reworked some descriptions to make them shorter and clearer.

  • Fixed lifesteal attacks dealing double damage.

  • Healing effects now heal for more.

LETALIS

  • Rebalanced the base stats of all F.STYLE, which is the main factor determining Letalis stats.

  • Added new helmets and armor.

  • Most (if not all) Stage II promoted Letalis that were missing visual upgrades will now receive updated portraits and/or equipment.

  • Fixed Rabbiwatt not being able to promote.

  • Fangstorm will no longer be a permanent recruit. If he's already in your party, revisiting the castle will trigger the conclusion of his quest.

  • Reworked Fangstorm's weapons and gear.

  • Start-of-combat effects such as Auto Block and Auto Taunt are now working correctly.

  • End-of-turn effects such as Auto Heal are now working correctly.

  • Minor stats boost to the Monkey King.

  • Minor stats boost to the Living Weapon.

  • Changed TREMOR (High Hill Coliseum) from the Leviathan F.STYLE to Triton to match its gear.

COMBAT

  • We found and fixed a rare error that could cause multi-stage fights to crash.

  • Fixed HP handling when running away from combat after losing a Letalis.

TEXT CORRECTIONS

  • Fixed the NPC near the Pitfight in Ducca displaying FATAL BLOW instead of GLORYRISE. This was a mistake caused while fixing leftover terminology from an older version.

  • Removed the STONE status condition reference from the Library.

NAVIGATION & UI

  • Fixed softlocks and visual bugs that could occur while traveling by ship and through similar transportation sequences.

  • Minor improvements to the Defend Coliseum flow. More improvements are coming.

  • Fixed item inventory page index validation.

LOCALIZATION

  • Added a new font for Japanese. It doesn't look pixelated, but more importantly, it should be much easier to read and should include every character.

  • More improvements and translations of missing text across all languages.

KNOWN ISSUES

  • Game Crash. We’ve already updated the underlying engine/framework on our side, but the error can still appear and it does not seem to be caused by normal game logic or player actions. At the moment, it looks more like a lower-level technical issue in the runtime the game depends on, which in some cases can also be influenced by system-specific factors such as graphics or audio drivers. We’re continuing to track down the root cause and work on a fix.

COMING SOON

  • Improvements of the Defend Coliseum UI flow.

  • Improvements of the minimap navigation when using the Map or Fast Travel.

  • New NPC explaining how the Codex highlight option works.

  • New NPC explaining the different Block visual indicators.

  • New NPC explaining the different Dodge visual indicators.
