(Regular big update)

Demo version 0.1.2

What's new:

Added more languages:

  • The demo now supports all 30 languages.

Added hints:

In the left menu, you’ll now find a new button: Logbook.

Inside the Logbook, you can find hints and about:

  • How to build

  • How to sail

  • How to fight

  • And much more

Auto-Buy ammunition:

When you open the Trade menu, you’ll now see a checkbox at the bottom for Auto-Buy Ammunition.

If enabled, after sailing, the game will automatically restock your ammunition back to the amount you had before leaving port.

Example: Before sailing, you had:

  • 120 cannonballs

  • 50 chainshots

After battle or any sailing event ends, the game will automatically buy the missing ammunition to restore those amounts — if you have enough gold.

If you don’t have enough gold, you’ll receive a notification.

Fame:

There is now a new button in the left menu: Fame.

There you can find:

  • Your personal statistics

  • Your rank and progression

  • Tasks required to rank up from Newbie to Poseidon

  • A global leaderboard with the Top 10 sailors and your worldwide position

Cloud Savings:

This part makes me a little nervous, ho-ho-ho.

I did my best to make the migration from local saves to cloud saves as smooth as possible. If you already played the game, your progress and ships should remain intact :)

This also introduces two game modes:

Online

  • Fame

  • Statistics

  • Ranking

  • Multiplayer features

Offline

  • Play with bots

  • No Fame

  • No multiplayer

Offline multiplayer:

You can now fight random battles and compete in regattas against ships created by other players.

This is an intermediate step before full online multiplayer goes live.

Updated:

Buy/Sell popup

The Buy/Sell popup now has two interface options.

The original interface remains available, and below it you’ll find a more classic buy/sell layout.

You can choose whichever feels more comfortable.

Sail customization

Sail emblems now use a single color property with an emission strength option.

Trajectory color

Trajectory visuals are now more visible.

As before, you can customize the color in the Settings menu.

P.S. Feel free to report any bugs, share ideas, or leave feedback ːsteamhappyː

P.S.S. It’s been a while since my last post, but as you can see, I’ve been working on a lot of things for you.

And by the way — a BIG thanks to everyone who streamed or played my game. It helped me a lot to understand what needs improvement, where players may get stuck, and what parts people enjoy the most.

And honestly, it was really enjoying watching people having fun :)
