changedShip PhysicsImproved ship collision handling — both between ships and when interacting with the environment. Collisions should now feel smoother and more reliable.
changedAiming MechanicsThis change is not very noticeable with the very first weak cannon without upgrades. However, once you upgrade it — or use more powerful cannons — aiming at long distances using the visible trajectory should now feel easier and more precise.
changedSailsI also adjusted the sail transparency logic. This system is still being improved — a larger sail transparency update is coming soon and should look much better.

Improvements & Tweaks

Ship Physics

  • Improved ship collision handling — both between ships and when interacting with the environment. Collisions should now feel smoother and more reliable.

Aiming Mechanics

  • This change is not very noticeable with the very first weak cannon without upgrades. However, once you upgrade it — or use more powerful cannons — aiming at long distances using the visible trajectory should now feel easier and more precise.

  • The change is quite subtle under the hood, so the best way is simply to try it and feel the difference.

Sails

  • Rigging ropes have been made slightly thinner.

  • I also adjusted the sail transparency logic. This system is still being improved — a larger sail transparency update is coming soon and should look much better.

Sound

  • Adjusted the sound balance while sailing. The creaking and “breathing” of the ship should now be more noticeable. Each ship type has its own character.
