Legendary Tales changes
Since announcing the DLC late last year, we’ve spent each and every day fully immersed in its development. Even in the middle of our hectic schedule, I often found myself thinking about all the moments we’ve shared with our community.
When we first launched Legendary Tales in Early Access on Steam, all we had were worries. We were an unknown indie team releasing a rough, unfinished game—and we honestly didn’t know if anyone would care. But the first adventurers who stepped into our world… were all of you.
Back in those earliest days of Early Access, we didn’t even have a skill tree. Compared to what Legendary Tales has become today, it’s fair to say we had almost nothing back then. But through your feedback, ideas, inspiration, and countless bug reports, the game grew day by day. Legendary Tales exists in its current form because of you— something we could never have created on our own.
And even after the full release, your continued support, passion, and love for the game have meant more to us than we can express.
Today, we’re here to share two important pieces of news.
1. A permanent price reduction for the base game
Since our full release last February, we’ve seen messages from players—especially on Discord—saying that the price made it difficult to bring friends along. We did offer discounts from time to time, but at some point, we realized that maybe it just wasn’t enough.
Legendary Tales has always been a game shaped by its community from the very beginning. So to make the world more accessible, and to welcome more adventurers into the journey you’ve all helped build, we’ve decided to permanently reduce the price of the base game from $54.99 to $39.99.
This decision comes from one simple hope: that more players can walk the same path you have, side by side.
2. The DLC we’ve poured our hearts into for the past year
The second news we want to share is about the DLC we’ve been working tirelessly on—our way of giving back some of the passion you’ve shown us. We believe this DLC marks the beginning of a new chapter we will write together.
That’s why we named it “Dawn of History,” a subtitle that carries the meaning of a new beginning—and also a nod to the original game’s ending song.
Four years ago, we began crafting a world with the simple hope that someone, somewhere, might enjoy living in it. And ever since then, you have been the ones truly breathing life into that world.
Your battles, your stories, your Legendary Tales—
All those are the foundation of this DLC.
In that sense, “Dawn of History” isn’t just something we created. It’s a new chapter we built with you.
And the journey of Legendary Tales is far from over. With this DLC, we’re opening new paths— and our biggest wish is that you’ll continue writing your own stories along those roads.
Thank you, always, for being with us. We can’t wait to see you again at the Dawn of History.
Warm Regards,
BJ

NEW LEGENDARY BUCKLER
Heumhyul
Skill: Chain Hook

Launches a chain that binds an enemy on hit.
While the target is bound, pulling Heumhyul drags the enemy toward the caster.
NEW LEGENDARY WAND
Levitas Skill: Reverse Gravity Description: When Levitas is equipped, the Portal spell is replaced with the Reverse Gravity spell. Hitting an enemy with this spell applies a gravitational mark. Lifting your wand upward launches the marked target into the air, and swinging it downward slams the target into the ground, dealing damage.
NEW LEGENDARY SHIELD
Sol Tonare
Skill: Echo Smash
Description:
When Sol Tonare is thrown and hits an enemy, it pierces through them, knocking them back and dealing damage.
Sol Tonare will then travel a set distance before returning to the player.
If you strike Sol Tonare as it returns, it will launch forward again toward the enemy.
NEW LEGENDARY ONE-HANDED SWORD
Bongukgeom
Skill: Rupture the Sky
Description:
Activating the skill summons a sheath that forms around Bongukgeom’s blade.
The longer you hold the sheath in a ready stance, the wider the attack’s range becomes.
Drawing the sword unleashes a strike that damages and knocks back all enemies within the expanded area.
NEW MAGIC
