Not long ago, I shared our roadmap with you.

At the time, I also said something else.

I told you that we might become quiet for a while.

Not because we had stopped developing the game, but because we would be busy building the next step for Legendary Tales.

Today, I'm happy to say that we've kept the first promise from that roadmap.

Sandbox Mode and Friendly Fire are finally here.

Sandbox Mode

For years, many players have asked for a place where they could freely experiment.

A place to create builds.

A place to test equipment.

A place to discover interactions that would normally take hundreds of hours of gameplay.

Today, we're finally able to give you that place.

Sandbox was never meant to be a simple "cheat mode."

To me, one of the most enjoyable parts of Legendary Tales has always been experimenting.

Trying strange builds.

Finding unexpected synergies.

Discovering something nobody else has thought of.

Sandbox exists for exactly that reason.

Inside Sandbox Mode, you can:

  • Create any equipment you want without limitations.

  • Check the actual stat ranges and options that can appear on equipment in the main game.

  • Set your character to any level.

  • Allocate skill points however you like to experiment with different builds and skill combinations.

  • Spawn any regular monster or Champion in any quantity.

Champions become even more interesting in Sandbox.

In the main game, Champions normally have one special ability.

In Sandbox, you can create Champions with up to three special abilities.

These enhanced Champions can only exist inside Sandbox Mode.

If you've ever wanted to truly test your combat skills...

Now is your chance.

This is only the Beta version of Sandbox.

I'm sure there are still problems we haven't discovered yet.

If you find bugs, please let us know.

If there's a feature you've always wanted, feel free to suggest it.

We can't promise we'll implement every idea, but we promise we'll read every suggestion.

Our goal is to continue expanding Sandbox throughout this year, including a much larger playable area.

If everything goes well, we'd also like to deliver a major Sandbox update during Q3.

We'll keep working hard.

Friendly Fire

Friendly Fire has finally arrived as well.

When creating a multiplayer session, you can now decide whether Friendly Fire is enabled or disabled.

When enabled, players can damage each other in most situations.

This creates much more intense and sometimes much more chaotic co-op gameplay.

Some players will probably use this feature as a PvP mode.

That's completely up to you.

However, I'd like to repeat something I said in the roadmap announcement.

We never created Friendly Fire to become PvP.

We created it because we wanted cooperative gameplay to become just a little more unpredictable... :)

...and hopefully, a lot more fun.

Looking Ahead

Last time, I also mentioned Roguelite Mode (Temporal assisted name) At that point, it was nothing more than an R&D project. We simply wanted to answer one question."Would this actually be fun?"So we spent the past few months building prototypes, testing ideas, and playing them ourselves. The more we played... The harder it became to stop. At some point, we realized something. This was no longer just research. It had become our next project. Because of that, Roguelite Mode has officially moved beyond the R&D stage and entered full production. The project has grown much larger than we originally imagined. At this point, it will most likely become a DLC rather than a free update. I don't want to make promises about release dates yet. I'd rather stay quiet than promise something we can't confidently deliver. But as soon as we have something meaningful to share... You'll be the first to know. Before I Go, last time, I told you we'd probably become quiet for a while. We did. Because we were busy building. Today is proof of that. And if we become quiet again... You'll know exactly why. We have never been the fastest developers. But we've always tried to become developers who keep their promises. We'll continue doing exactly that. Thank you for believing in us. See you again with the next promise.

Warm Regards, (It's actually hot in Korea)
