Legendarium Online changes
Special bonuses of metal based items. Unique attributes or bonuses granted to items depending on the metal they are forged from.
Iron. No bonuses. Heavy and cheap.
Bronze. Slightly better than Iron (more damage, more armor, same weight, same DEX/INT loss)
Silver. Reduced stats loss. "Demon Slayer" - does extra damage (as Holy damage) to the Demons. Also Demons touching the Silver armor - gets Holy damage.
Gold. Reduced stats loss. Increased damage/armor/etc.
Shadow. Very light plate armor that almost do not reduce stats. Provides less bonuses than other metal of the same tier.
Blood Rock. Heavy. Highest tier in current version. Top damage/armor. **Chance on hit:** - Life Drain.
New player attribute added: Faith. Faith represent your loyalty to the God that in world of Arda, named as Eru Ilúvatar. Your Faith drops when you do crimes and increases when you do "good" things.
Faith could be from -10,000 up to +10,000. There is no GUI that represents exact number (on purpose).
Faith from 0 to 10,000 represents an innocent player. Innocent players have their nicknames highlighted with blue color.
Faith from -1000 up to 0 represents a criminal player. Criminals nicknames highlighted with gray color.
Criminal (gray) players constantly getting gains of Faith every few minutes until they justified back to Innocent (blue) Faith levels. Takes from 5 min to 2 hours for full recovery.
Player who hit an innocent (like hitting other player or NPC) - loses Faith. If a player was an innocent he will become a criminal instantly.
Player cannot drop below -1000 Faith when doing minor crimes. Only killing innocents can make him drop below this level.
Faith from -10,000 up to -1000 represent a murderer (aka PK). These players have **red **nicknames.
Murderers (PKs) have reduced rates of Faith recovery. Takes few hours to recover for a single kill.
If a murderer (PK) drops its Faith up to maximum level which is -10,000 Faith - then Faith recovery drops to 0.
Player lose Faith for crimes such as: hitting innocents, killing innocents, looting innocents, stealing from innocents, etc.
Everyone (including other criminals or innocents) may freely attack criminals (gray) players and murderers (red) players. No faith penalties. Including within the town.
Guards do NOT auto attack criminals (gray) players by default. However, NPC or Players may call guards for help typing in to the chat something like "Guards" or "guards" or "guards!!!" , etc.. and if there is a Guard around - he will come and start attacking all the criminals/reds around you.
Guards DO attack murderers(reds) by default, without a need to call for their help.
Player's pets fully represent the owner's Faith level. If innocent tame a horse - the horse become an innocent ("blue") , etc.
If a pet loses Faith (like attacking an innocent) - the owner of the pet gets 100% of Faith loss for his pet.
All the NPC talk differently to innocents, criminals and murderers. Innocent (blue) NPC reject talking with a murderer player (red) and run away, screaming insults and calling guards.
New world object added - "**Shrine** statue". Usually placed in churchs or squares or graveyards. All players may interact with the shrine to start ~30 sec cast "Praying" that has a 5% chance to bless a player and increase his Faith by +500. This works for -10,000 murderers as well.
Praying also has a chance to train Intelligence (INT) stat.
P.s. In next release, players will be getting unique in-game Titles, bonuses and abilities based on their Faith level.
