What changed
- Balance
- UI and audio
Okay so first of all, now that the April Fools joke's over, the actual name of "Lean Simulator: Desperation v2.0.0" is actually "Lean Simulator: Desperaceon", at least that's what I'll be referring to it as outside of the minigame itself.
That being said, unlike the previous update, this update ONLY makes changes to the Lean Simulator: Desperaceon secret minigame, not the main game itself, so here's the changelog:
Additions
- You can now skip the short intro cutscene by pressing left click & right click at the same time. - Emily Tauren is now implemented! This is the only thing mentioned in the in-game Changelog. She appears as a 1 in 10 chance enemy who is faster than the others. You can also play as her if you type "TAUREN" on your keyboard at the title screen. Emily Tauren gives you an overall speed buff so she's basically a cool cheat code. - Previously, the Flood level was the only one with a gameplay difference (you stop slower), but that 1 gameplay difference was completely un-noticeable (why tf would you stop accelerating to begin with?). Now all levels have gameplay gimmicks that are more noticeable.
To be specific
- The First Level is the only level devoid of any gimmick (It IS the first level afterall). - The Evil Level brings back the Shadow Hands from the base game which once again act as obstructions. - The Flood Level now makes you slow down gradually rather than instantly after using Special Lean. - The Lean Monster Gaming Level didn't need anything extra since it had a really annoying visual gimmick that may as well have been a gameplay gimmick considering it mostly blinds you, but I added more to it anyway. Lap 3 is a switch-up that adds both prior gimmicks as well, making Lean Monster Gaming Lap 3 the culmination of the entire game with all gimmicks.
Changes: - Enemy Lean Monsters now move faster on later levels. - Special Lean Types have been rebalanced, I played with a lot here, not exactly sure what all the changes were exactly but I THINK they were something like this: - Lean now lasts longer and spawns more often - Grean is now faster, lasts longer, and spawns more often. Buffed in basically every way. - Infinitean is now slower, but spawns more often. Gutted tbh. - Nerd Fluid is now faster. - Aquamarean now spawns more often. - Goldean & Tobias Lehnen's Medicalean I'm pretty sure didn't get changed in the end,
Bug Fix: - The Final Cutscene no longer skips the results screen.
