What changed

1 fix6 additions0 changes3 removals
  • Gameplay
  • Fixes
addedAdditions: - Dev Archive now added to the Extras Menu. - Added a sub-easter egg to an already existing easter egg.
removedChanges: - Special Lean Types are now less effective against Emily Tauren. They still one-shot her, but special abilities no longer apply. - Slightly increased the Bread Bonus from using Grean. - 2 Achievements have been swapped around so that they align with the order you're likely to achieve them.
fixedFixes: - Fixed a capitalisation error in the secret error screen. - Title Star 1 now shows up immediately when it's supposed to.
addedBasically, this is the NEW Lean Simulator: Desperation. When you boot up the game normally, this'll be what gets played. The old Legacy version is still available in the files (hence why there was still a minor update to it lol), later on it may be made a Launch Option on Steam where you can choose between the two, but for now it'll just be the new one.
addedHere's some of the major changes between the Legacy version you're used to and the new 2.0 version.
addedAdditions: - You can now freely roam Tilted Incorporated. - There are now 4 different "levels". Only Floor 48 starts unlocked, but you'll unlock the other 3 over the course of the game. - New Special Lean Type - I'll let the game surprise you as to what it is. You'll have to unlock it in gameplay. - Lean Monsters can now be customised! - Short intro animation to each run added, showcasing the Floor you've selected.

This update is so big that I've split it into 3 Parts, I'll give a description of each part in their own section.

Part 1 - LeanSimD (Legacy) v1.1.12: A normal update to the base game as you know it. I'll explain more in the Part 2 section as to why I've called it the "Legacy" version.

Additions: - Dev Archive now added to the Extras Menu. - Added a sub-easter egg to an already existing easter egg.

Changes: - Special Lean Types are now less effective against Emily Tauren. They still one-shot her, but special abilities no longer apply. - Slightly increased the Bread Bonus from using Grean. - 2 Achievements have been swapped around so that they align with the order you're likely to achieve them.

Fixes: - Fixed a capitalisation error in the secret error screen. - Title Star 1 now shows up immediately when it's supposed to.

Part 2 - LeanSimD v2.0.0: Lean Simulator: Desperation has been ENTIRELY remade. Many changes have been made from the ground up to make for an overall better experience.

Basically, this is the NEW Lean Simulator: Desperation. When you boot up the game normally, this'll be what gets played. The old Legacy version is still available in the files (hence why there was still a minor update to it lol), later on it may be made a Launch Option on Steam where you can choose between the two, but for now it'll just be the new one.

Here's some of the major changes between the Legacy version you're used to and the new 2.0 version.

Additions:

  • You can now freely roam Tilted Incorporated.
  • There are now 4 different "levels".

Changes: - You now start the game with some Special Lean Types unlocked. - Menus are now 2D. - Left Click now moves you forward when there's no object in front of you to interact with. - Lean Monsters now circle the facility. - Lean Monsters can now ALSO use Special Lean Types. - Lean Monster Gaming is made WAY harder to deal with. You're going to lose your mind when I see how I've adapted that mechanic to free-roam.

Removals: - Drinking Lean removed. It was just kind of an annoying mechanic. - Lean Machean Manual Restabilise minigame removed. Kinda pointless when you don't need to be at the Lean machean anymore.

Part 3 - Another Story: Michelle v1.1.0: A while ago, I made an experimental minigame called "Another Story: Michelle". Then I slowly phased it out to be a more secret thing, then I straight up removed it. Today, I've decided to bring it back and update it! Still a secret thing to access though.

Changes: - Made the subtitles actually visible rather than being unreadable for visual flair filler. - The Enigma is now associated with the colour green... Okay guys it's important to ME lmao. - Added an extra visual effect in the end cutscene to allude to what's going on just a tad bit more.

Yes, there's an April Fools element to this but there's ALSO a real genuine update. I haven't lied anywhere on this Changelog.
