Last Pirates: Die Together changes
Ahoy!
We prepared a solid update for you today, and this time we are not limiting ourselves to bug fixes. One feature you have been waiting on is finally aboard, the UI got a proper pass, a long list of tweaks and fixes is underneath, and there is a hint at something much heavier on the way. Read on.
Trust no chest
Some are no longer what they seem. Any one of them can now roll into a Screamer with a small chance, and opening the wrong box will let you know. Trust your gut. Or don't. Either way will be entertaining.
Reconnection
If the sea throws you off the ship, you can now rejoin the session and pick up where the rest of the crew left you. No more watching your friends finish the run without you.
UI got a fresh coat of paint
A small visual refit across the board. New loading screens fill the gaps between rooms. Tips now read your hardware and quietly swap between gamepad and keyboard icons. The lobby finally behaves on wide screens, every element parked exactly where it should be. And the wardrobe got a touch of polish too, with fresh icons for butts and a clean new set for Xbox inputs.
Balance and level design
Enemies no longer spawn in the first rooms, so they no longer appear right on top of you.
Rupor weights fix.
Pants prices rebalanced across the store.
Headcrabs got their first prototype variant.
Long hands tweak.
Melee weapons no longer deal self-damage on swing.
Bug fixes
Quality options in the settings menu are now fully working.
Player no longer gets stuck under the boat.
Pirate Head monster no longer reaches through cover to attack you.
Bell no longer vanishes from the store inventory.
Coming in hot
A M ASS IVE drop is coming your way. We are not showing it yet, but it is the kind of thing that reshapes how the ship feels. Keep both eyes on the horizon.
Before we sail off, one quick word of thanks. You have already pushed the demo past 80 reviews, which is wild and means a lot to the whole team. If you have not left one yet, the demo page is one click away, and every line helps the ship stay afloat.
Something deep has been eyeing your booty, and it is almost ready. — Last Pirates Team 🧡
