👋 Hello Kritters!

We are back with another update to keep the momentum going. Following the new cloning protocols and multiplayer stability fixes, we’ve spent the last few days looking at how the game feels to play, specifically the "flow" of combat and the economy of your upgrades.

Our goal is to make every run feel smoother while ensuring that high-level upgrades feel like a true achievement. Here is what M.Ark has in store for you today:

Quality of Life & Combat Flow

  • Loot Sprinkles: Tired of items dropping in a single, messy pile? Treasure chests now drop items that spread out, making it much easier to see (and grab) exactly what you just found.

  • Seamless CombatWe’ve updated the input logic. You can now keep your primary attack held down while using another skill. Your primary attack will simply "pause" and resume automatically afterward, rather than being interrupted entirely.

Balancing & Economy

  • Luck of the S-Rank: Performing at your best pays off! Achieving a Rank S wave now grants a +25% luck bonus on your rewards.

  • Engineer Power: The Engineer now starts the run with 2 turret charges.

  • Upgrade Costs: To better balance the late-game economy, we’ve adjusted the Blue Crystal costs:

    • Carbon Drill: Upgrades now cost 35 and 50 crystals (up from 25/30).

    • Blue Crystal Drill: Upgrades now cost 35 and 75 crystals (up from 25/30).

  • Skill Tree Adjustments: * The Temporal Convector now gives 10 seconds of exploration on Level 1 (down from 15).

    • The gadget charge bonus on the 3rd skill tree circle has been removed.

    • M.Ark Level 3 no longer grants a flat 50 health bonus.

Bug Fixes

  • Mission TrackingThe "Kill 10k enemies" mission is now officially fixed and tracking your kills!
  • Challenge Fixes:"Nice Defense" and "I’m Different" are now working properly.

  • Ninja MasteryFixed a bug where killing the 2nd boss as the Ninja wasn't recorded. Note: You will need to beat him one more time to claim the "True Fans!" challenge.
  • UI & End of RunClient players can now see all their stats (kills, damage taken, M.Ark damage) on the end-of-run screen. We also fixed the camp completion stats and mission pop-ups.
  • Act 3 StabilityFixed a critical bug where waves would stop spawning after finding the third key.
  • The Final Door: You can no longer open the final boss door while a wave is actively attacking M.Ark. Focus on the defense first!

We are still ironing out the last few "pink square" visual glitches and translation issues to make the experience as polished as possible. Thank you for your continued support and for helping us make Kritter better every single day.
