Steam Next Fest, Release Date... Kicking off the last mile

The wait is almost over. After four years of blood, sweat, and a lot of coffee, we have a date:

Kritter: Defend Together officially launches on March 10! 🗓️

But before we hit that big "Release" button, we’re going all in for the Steam Next Fest (Feb 23 – March 2). This is our “Last Dance” and we’ve prepared a massive update to make sure we go out with a bang!

4 Years, 2 Friends, and a Dream

This isn't just a game launch for us; it’s the culmination of a 20-year friendship. Tom and I (Bastien) started this journey in 2020 during the pandemic. From funding hurdles to marketing marathons, we’ve seen it all.

What’s New in the Next Fest Demo?

We aren't holding anything back. The demo is bigger, faster, and more polished than ever with some of the content from our creator beta added to its content:

• The Ninja Class: Our fastest melee class yet. Dash through enemies and slice them to ribbons, already a favorite in our influencer beta!

• Deep Customization: Dress up your Kritters with hats and give M.Ark a makeover with stylish antennae and flags.

• AddedMissions & TrophiesOur new quest system unlocks items, perks, and physical trophies you can display inside your ship. Plus, Steam Achievements are officially live!

• Hardcore Mode: Think you’re good? Prove it. This mode adds constraints that will test even the most coordinated teams.

• AddedUI & PolishMeet Mini M.Ark , your new narrative companion, and enjoy full controller support for Steam Deck, PlayStation, and Switch.

The Leaderboard Challenge: Win a Unique Reward!

We’re putting our global leaderboard to good use. We want to thank everyone who jumps in during the festival:

1. Participation Prize: Every player registered on the leaderboard before the end of the event will receive an exclusive in-game cosmetic and a key for the final version of the game if they make it into the top 10. 🎖️

2. The Ultimate Winner: The #1 player at the end of the event wins a unique cosmetic that only they will ever own. Talk about bragging rights! 😉
