Oooh, so it’s been almost three weeks after our release and honestly, it feels more like a month. We’ve been doing small patches to deal with the more annoying bugs based on your feedback and on Tuesday we published a bigger update that concludes this month’s patch-work.
Bug fixes
The morning recording sequence had trouble starting automatically after loading the game so we decided for it to be interaction-based. So, you have to make the extra click to start the recording but it now always works.
An issue on some Mac models made all of the sprites turn hot pink until you toggled fullscreen, so we got a slightly dirty fix to make it refresh the sprites on startup.
Steam Achievements went live last week but now we’ve made sure you can actually achieve all of them.
Made sure music always switches when going through the Main Menu.
Other
Added a new cursor type for navigating the stairs.
Fixed some visuals where objects weren’t perfectly aligned with outlines.
Added more variation in item placement SFX.
Made sure all the drawers sound like drawers when opened.
Added some other visual and audio adjustments, improving on continuity.
Update timeline
We’ll be working on more updates in the coming seasons, adding in some of the stuff we wanted to but didn’t have time for earlier. This is a “not set in stone” plan for what you can expect from us in the next months.
