We are beyond excited to announce that Konfronto will leave Early Access and launch the 1.0 update on February 23, 2026.
Konfronto 1.0 will get Achievements, and a major UI overhaul, with the menus, Trader screen and battle screen receiving some much needed love. 1.0 will also bring an in-game catalogue of items, and a glossary with explanations of all the terms used in-game (our two most requested features).
We expect the beta for this build to be available for all Early Access players in the very near future.
Laying the foundation for this huge update is our final Early Access patch, with some pretty big balance changes that impact the first few turns of the game. We’ve also made some changes to matchmaking, resulting in easier matches for players at lower ranks.
Major balance changes
Space Junk and the three Shield Generators that activate on being attacked (Tower Shield, Warded Shield, and Scrap Shield) will now only activate a maximum of once per turn.
Unlocking Carrier Systems will now offer 3 choices, from any Carrier System type. Players will be able to reroll these choices, allowing everyone a chance to get an econ option regardless of which Carrier they got at the start of a match.
Other balance changes
Getting a good Trader early is crucial, with the first turn’s Trader offerings potentially being the most impactful in the game. Now that reroll (and every first reroll when entering the Trader screen) will cost only 5 credits.
Spaceship cooldowns have been reviewed, with many small ships getting longer cooldowns and large ships getting shorter cooldowns. In most of these cases, their attack has been adjusted to compensate.
