addedSo our first step in remedying some of these problems is to take some time to make sure that the mechanics that are already in (like farming, terraforming, etc.) feel good and make a cohesive, fun experience before we add any more new features.
addedThe dust still hasn’t quite settled, and likely won’t until into the new year, so we can’t elaborate too much on the schedule quite yet. Of course, we’ll be sure to update you as things come into clarity.

Is there something you really wish we’d incorporate? Trick or treat, Atlasers! šŸ‘»

We knew the day would probably come, eventually, as it does for nearly all gamedev projects… we’ve hit a bit of a speedbump with development, and had to spend some time reassessing our schedule and plan moving forward.

In short, when we laid out our development plan at the start of the year, we chose to focus on getting in lots of mechanics and features up front; we put content off until later. But that has led to some mechanics not feeling well integrated with one another, and a misestimation as to how long content development would take when we got here, among other things.

So our first step in remedying some of these problems is to take some time to make sure that the mechanics that are already in (like farming, terraforming, etc.) feel good and make a cohesive, fun experience before we add any more new features.

To be clear, everything is okay right now! But it does mean we don’t have a lot of development progress to show off this month.

One thing we can show off is Kokopa & Pollimero’s INCREDIBLE Halloween costumes! šŸŽƒšŸˆā€ā¬›

And of course, be sure to wishlist the game on Steam if you haven’t already! It helps the team so much, and we really appreciate it.

Until next time! šŸ‘‹
