EXOGEN LABS - SUBJECT ADVISORY
The testing program has recently undergone several adjustments. Monitoring systems have been recalibrated, and a new specimen has been deployed within the facility.
Subjects experiencing unexpected limb detachment are encouraged to utilise approved biological replacements.

Hello Test Subjects,
The start of this year has been super busy and we’ve been making some great progress lately that we wanted to share! We'd also like to say thank you and welcome to everyone who's joined the KTWYF Discord!
A UI Facelift
One area we’ve been spending a bunch of time recently is the UI. As the game has grown, it’s become increasingly clear we’re asking a lot from the player’s screen at any given moment.
You’re juggling quite a few things at once – Your health, your team’s health, the timer, and of course, the condition of each of your four limbs. Since limbs can be ripped off and swapped out throughout your run, it’s important to quickly understand what’s attached, what’s damaged, and what might fall off mid-fight.
Our earlier UI passes did the job, but we’ve been giving them some much needed polish.
Here's a BEFORE and AFTER.

We’re still iterating on this, and we’d love to hear your thoughts!
A New Friend: The Exploder
We’ve also been working on adding new enemy types into the mix, and one of the more recent additions is something we’re calling the Exploder.
The name is…fairly descriptive.
These enemies aren’t interested in long, drawn-out fights. They’ll rush you and detonate when they get close enough. But hey, kill them quickly and you might be able to use them to your advantage...
We’re still tuning their behaviour, but early tests have already created some extremely funny (and extremely short-lived) moments.
Playtesting Chaos
Speaking of testing – We’ve been running a few small playtesting sessions through our Discord, so if you’re interested in jumping in early and helping us break things (or getting blown up, smashed with a crab claw, launched into a grinder, or caught in a laser trap) that’s probably the best place to keep an eye on.
That’s all for now! While we continue to cook up new content and QoL changes, we’re also looking at when you can first get your hands on KTWYF. Keep an eye out for the update, and you’ll be the first to know.
We might even unveil a new friend, which will make killing things that little bit harder…
Cheers,
– KTWYF Team
