addedA big balance pass this season to shake up the meta. Vorpal Pistol and Pulse Barrier have ruled the speedrun boards for three months straight, so they're getting reined in, and a whole pile of slept-on skills - plus poison and fire builds - are getting cranked up to give other builds room to shine. These buffs are deliberately generous; go find a new way to break the game.
addedCore: - Season reward buff - Voidspawn Eruption: the new season's leaderboard-winner crown buff, replacing Reaper's Harvest. Every enemy you kill makes you erupt - cursed tendrils whip out behind you and a swarm of 1-3 void minions comes shooting off your body to hunt down whatever's left. The winner's crown gets a new look too, with tentacles writhing out of it. - You can now scroll around the enlarged minimap. With the big map open, use your movement controls (keyboard or gamepad stick) to pan the view and scan more of the level - your character holds still while you look, and the map recenters on you when you close it.
