Hey folks! I’m back from a quick (and much-needed) vacation. It was super relaxing and I’m glad I took some time off, but I genuinely missed working on Katanaut, so I’m excited to be back at it.

Hey folks! I’m back from a quick (and much-needed) vacation. It was super relaxing and I’m glad I took some time off, but I genuinely missed working on Katanaut, so I’m excited to be back at it.

addedToday’s patch is a small one that focuses on cleaning up bugs and addressing some of the feedback you sent in while I was away. For the next few updates, I’ll mostly be tackling any new issues or bugs that pop up, since I’m currently full steam ahead on a larger content update. I’m aiming to have that “big” release ready for January. 🙂
changedCore - General performance updates for upper and lower end PC specs -- lowering lag associated to damage numbers and gibs. - Updated skill orb selection menu so the text size and spacing is all normalized for PC and Steamdecks. - Optimized blood particle system by 5-10%.
addedBalance - Nerfed Mawhounds new tumor ability, elongating its spawn timer by 50% on all warps. - Nerfed Avarice Engines mini droid spawns, reducing their running speed and targeting distance by 40%, and reducing their health by 25%. - Buffed Lilithex boss, brought back her ground thorn attack but at a significantly reduced rate. - Buffed Horizon Keeper boss hp by 20%, increased rate of thorn spawns(zoomed out phase) depending on the warp.
fixedBugs - Fixed issue when swapping jump/dodge game-pad buttons, players could not select skills from skill orbs. - Fixed issue where swapping aim between left-right joysticks wouldn't save after restarting game. - Fixed issue where the tail end of Lilithex's Warp Worms would not deal damage to the player when touching them. - Fixed minor graphical issue when Lilithex does invisible. - Fixed audio issue when pausing during a boss fight, and the music does not return back to normal volume.
